| What does Santa put in your kids stockings? I've been given the honor(?) to fill stockings of three of my SILs kids (she has eleven mouths to feed), two other someones have three and one person has the two youngest, as they haven't done stockings in years due to the cost of things (it would be you'll get less presents if you have a stocking).
I pulled the oldest ones (25, 23, and 18). I've got two movie tickets for the middle one who is away at college, special Mark-It pens and a set of Pip-Squeaks Markers (regular and thin) for the youngest (who loves to doodle) and a Tennessee sweatshirt for the oldest. For all of them I have razors, M&Ms, Dove chocolate for the girls (Nephew doesn't like chocolate) and several flavors/brands of gum.
What ELSE should go in? Their mom (my SIL) starting couponing this year and she has all the normal health and beauty stuff I would throw in, so it wouldn't be SPECIAL like it would if she hadn't been couponing.
When I was growing up the youngest of 4, we always got nuts and citrus in our stockings with new toothbrushes and toothpaste with one SPECIAL candy (our favorite, but just one bar).
Also should I do SIL and Brother something too?

| Re: What does Santa put in your kids stockings? Oh gosh, I haven't even started yet. My kids actually get two stockings -- one at the hearth and one hanging on their door. It's part of our Christmas decorations, and it keeps them busy for at least a few minutes while we get another couple minutes of shut eye!
I have an 8 year old and a 7 year old, and I'm doing markers and new doodling pads, a couple of new books they've both been wanting, probably some perfume samples for DD and Lip Smackers; some favorite candy and probably some homemade goodies. |

| Re: What does Santa put in your kids stockings? DD (5) a mango, chocolate candies, a computer game disk, a slinky, underwear.
DS (2) a papaya, chocolate candies, underwear, bath toys.
Usually Santa brings a battery powered toothbrush, but St. Nick covered that. Possibly will pick up some character manual ones to toss in. But dang if I don't hate to pay for a toothbrush. |
