    Default Hottest Home-made Gifts!! ~ 2008

    2008 Hottest Home-made Gifts!!

I thought it might be fun to keep a list of
"HOT" items (like toys r us but better) that everyone is making for the holidays. A lot of people mentioned they are making hand-made gifts here are the top three I have noticed. I know I also plan to make a dress-up kit for dd and if works out easy and well I will make more for other relatives.

    1) COOKIES
    2) Ornaments
    3) Pajamas
    4) Gift Baskets
    5) Personalized Scrapbooks
    6) Candy
    7) Candles
    8) Pet Toys and Treats
    9) Drink mixes

Last year I baked muffins for the teachers, wrapped in cling wrapped, tied with curling ribbion...added a folgers single stick or reg and decaf coffee (I'd gotten free after coupons), attached a little card stock printed card that said "have a muffin and coffee on me" - signed by my son. They loved them.

Also, I had a bunch of little jarred candles I picked up for $0.25 somewhere - I wrapped those in tissue, added notes that said "you light up my life".

my son made oragami boxes to put the fudge in last year. They were really cute.

I changed my avatar to a picture of the boxes. I don't know how to just put a picture on my post.
