2008 Hottest Home-made Gifts!!

I thought it might be fun to keep a list of "HOT" items (like toys r us but better) that everyone is making for the holidays. A lot of people mentioned they are making hand-made gifts here are the top three I have noticed. I know I also plan to make a dress-up kit for dd and if works out easy and well I will make more for other relatives.

Last year I baked muffins for the teachers, wrapped in cling wrapped, tied with curling ribbion...added a folgers single stick or reg and decaf coffee (I'd gotten free after coupons), attached a little card stock printed card that said "have a muffin and coffee on me" - signed by my son. They loved them.

Also, I had a bunch of little jarred candles I picked up for $0.25 somewhere - I wrapped those in tissue, added notes that said "you light up my life".

my son made oragami boxes to put the fudge in last year. They were really cute.
