They're all that way, IME. :D
Then again I have that issue with Gymbo, too.
(Not all stores are run as well as yours. ;))

I wish ALL stores had just one price scanner so you could be sure of the price. (Especially stores like Goody's that are always running % off.)

I have five kids, age eight and under, four of which are girls. We can pretty much buy any girls clothes from size 12-18 months up to an eight and they will fit someone! I have a tote overflowing with shoes that I've bought ahead of time. We also have five totes full of clothes for later seasons and sizes. I'm still working on our clothing "stockpile". Up until our youngest was born I always made our girls clothes, so we are scrambling to come up with clothes right now. When we found out we were pregnant with our little guy, we starting buying clothes and clothes and more clothes since we didn't have anything for a boy. He had clothes to wear all the way up until this summer and he is three now. We are working on building up his wardrobe again. Even though we buy 99% of our kids clothes second hand, I'm still picky about what we buy. Most of their clothes are TCP/Old Navy. They just seem to be better quality, they don't stain easily and they last longer. At the beginning of summer we hit a yard sale with TONS of Old Navy for $.50 each. We nearly cleaned them out!

I tried buying ahead in size for DD once, and never again. SHe grows at such a snails pace. Up until she was 8 months, she could still wear some preemie, and almost all newborns. Now at 3 1/2, she wears a lot of 18 months, and a few 2s. I keep holding out for that growth spurt....

I have twins and I would buy 1 year ahead because I over shopped and they could not wear all they had. I have done it for years but I am not doing it any more. I over buy if I do it. Then the stuff doesn't get worn becuase I like something else better. I will buy 3 to 4 months before the season starts and that is it.

I buy ahead but not too far. I've gotten burned because my kids ended up growing completely different than I planned. Ds for example used to be a chunky baby/toddler/preschooler now at age 8 he's a skinny pole and the only thing that fits him are slims (no way would I have guessed that back then). He also now has sensory issues so he's picky. My girls were also chunky babies/toddler/preschoolers but they never really did thin out but they are tall so pants I have go one size up but shirts are fine. They also go thru phases. All dress phases, all pink phases, etc. Who can plan for that? LOL!!

So now I buy 5-10 outfits a year ahead of time and the rest I fill in as needed.
