If a rebate form says "Not valid with any other offer." does this mean that coupons cannot be used? Thanks!

i'm not sure what that wording means exactly.

i've sent in rebates with that wording where i've used coupons and received the rebate.

some have specific wording to exclude or deduct coupon values.

HELP Re: Rebate FAQ

I apologize for truly asking the dumbest of rebate questions, but here goes. When it says valid only in such and such state, does it mean that the items must be purchased in valid only states and that the rebate may only be received in valid states? I've been assuming that's the case but since we have a few addresses currently, it would be helpful to know for sure. TIA!

I wish I could answer your question, but I have a REALLY dumb one because, as I am reading through what I can find on rebates, I haven't seen this answered yet.

Here it is: why does a certain company (say... a beer company) offer to give us money back on a purchase of oranges. Why??????

I would be happy to buy some oranges, because I adore them. But what does that have to do with beer?

I see a lot of printable rebates on forums and am wondering if I need to be worried about "rebate fraud" like I have to worry about coupon fraud? How do I know if a printed rebate form is "legit?"

Why am I not able to access this link from the above post? I get an error message that my access is denied?

I have a question. My local Shopko store in WI is running a rebate program right now. I picked up a few of their deals and am going to send in for the rebate. I also purchased Pert Plus Botanicals for $3.19 and used my $3Q on it. The bottle had the yellow peelie for "try me free" after mail in rebate. My Shopko form specifically states "original receipt, duplicates are not accectable" while the Pert Rebate simply states "dated store identified cash register receipt". Can I photocopy the receipt for the Pert rebate? This is my first stab at rebates. I thinking now that I should have done multiple transactions to get original receipts for both items.

While it is probably too late for you this time, here is what I would do. No, I would't copy it. Instead, I would take the item back to CS at the store, explain that you needed a seperate receipt and ask for them to return it and rering it for you. Most that I've done are pretty understanding when I do this, though it helps if they are not very busy at the time.

Or if there is a phone number on the rebate, call it to ask. If they will accept a copy, then that just saved you a bit of time.

Default Re: Rebate FAQ

This is my first month doing rebates in YEARS, and I ran across this twice this month.

If the rebate is limit TWO per household, is it okay to send both in the same envelope? For instance, I had the peel-off rebate on Rice Krispies with Strawberries this month - refund purchase price, limit two refunds per household. I filled out the two forms, I enclosed the two separate receipts with prices circled like they asked, and put all four pieces of paper into ONE business envelope to send it in.

I know it's too late for this particular rebate if this is wrong, but what's the general consensus on this? Was one envelope okay, or should each have received their own envelope and stamp?
