LMAO at the new Giant ads.

So I just saw the new Giant ad on tv.

They had some lady talking about the "lower prices everyday" thing. She said "I don't have time to read the paper for coupons. If I need some grapes, I buy the grapes because I know they are a good price."

I am glad that I DO have the time to read the paper for coupons-- I still think the new lower prices are pretty expensive.

haha! that's okay, i'm glad someone pays the "lower" prices so we can get the free stuff. the everyday low prices are still higher than a lot of other places around here. give me a real sale anyday!

I think that the new lower prices are still more expensive than some other stores. I want sales that are SALES!

I saw that ad yesterday and it caught my attention because I had read this thread! Like everyone says, it was a joke - their pricese are no longer attractive!

I really really hate these new commericals.

I mean, honestly, instead of spending all this money on advertising, just give us lower prices.

And if that one woman with the kids who play football would actually go thru the ads AND use coupons, she could afford to buy a house! ~$20 a week adds up pretty quickly.

Actually those ads scare me. Some of the other Giant stores (Eagle and PA) have stopped doing double q's recently. I am wondering if this campaign aimed towards no coupons needed is a sign that they may be moving away from doubles as well.

I know I love my coupons but I am not always able to search out the absolute lowest prices when I shop and I would hate for them to stop doubling and raise my quick trip prices.
