Is anyone else annoyed that the milk has not gone on sale since this deal started?? It is cheaper for me to buy my milk on sale somewhere else than to pay 3.99/gal so I can B6G1 free!!

I haven't been here that long--does anyone know if your free milk counts as one towards the next 6 purchases?

I was noticing the same thing Yellobelle. Before that Giant was having milk, about every other week, at $2.99 a gallon! Since this "promo" of buy 6 gallons get one free, one has to spend $23.94 to get a gallon of $3.99 milk! When milk was on sale, every other week at $2.99, for 6 gallons that's 17.94, get another gallon of milk for $2.99, total for 7 gallons of milk comes out to $20.93. With this "promo" the store is making $3.01, for every 6 gallons of milk and get one free promo it's running! This can get very expensive, if one uses a lot of milk. I get my milk on Tuesdays here at Magruders, when they have Tuesday Day special of a gallon of milk for $2.99!

yeah, i've been trying to buy my milk at harris teeter, it's been on sale for 2.99 there. we go through almost a gallon a day, so the $1 difference adds up fast!!

Can you believe it?!! I found a catalina for FREE gallon of milk in the parking lot of my local Giant (hubby says I have an eagle's eyesight when it comes to finding coupons, lol!)..........someone had actually thrown away a catalina for free milk (which apparently was received as part of the B6G1 free milk promo)!!

Their loss, my gain!

I found half of the vouchers for my free gallon of milk at Food Lion in the parking lot. Amazing what people will throw away.

woohoo! found a free milk catalina at the self-checkout while doing the dove deal!! worked out great, since dh was right behind me with another transaction that included milk (didn't want to drive all the way to town for cheaper milk). this milk deal is pretty good after all!

I got my 6th gallon of milk today (since the promo started in Oct?) but no catalina for 7th free gallon or even anything on my receipt saying how many I have bought. I got this bad feeling that maybe the promo has ended and I missed it. I went to the front desk to ask about the dates and almost left after waiting 5 mins for the manager to show up. Well, she finally showed up and I asked her if the promo had ended. She had no clue and looked in the ad (of course nothing in the ad about it this week). Then she whipped out the rain check pad and wrote me a raincheck for a free gallon, just like that!! Totally unexpected and I was happy, happy, happy! A nice store manager - yay!
