Why is this happening? re: Powerade promo
There is a promo that ends friday for Powerade--buy 10, get each for $.69. Otherwise, they are $1.00 each. Must buy 10. I have coupons for $.75 off 2. I have done this transaction about six times and only twice have I received the promo discount (which should be $3.10 off). The other times I've had to have a manager re-adjust and it's a bit annoying. This is what happens, the cashier will scan everything through, the promo discount comes off ( I see it on the screen), and coupons are applied (5 coupons). However, when the cashier hits the total key (or whatever button they hit) the promo discount gets removed and the total price goes back up!
What gives?!?!?!

maybe their registeres are programmed funny so its seeing your scanned mfq's as a promo in itself. Id just assume its a computer glitch. Would annoy me!

Did the same thing for me. It showed on the recap as coming off, but no where is it actually on the tape.

It's as if they won't allow you to get the promo discount AND use coupons. Like they don't want anyone to get something for free!!! Don't they realize that is what couponing is all about???? Sheesh! I'm so annoyed because between my running and DH's mtn. biking, we go through powerade like water and I have a ton of coupons that exp. on 7/31.
