Does anyone have any experience with the Scan It offers and combining them with manufacturer's q?

Example: If I use their Scan It this week, there is an offer to save $.50 on any Welch's. I have a manu q that will double to $1.50, add it to the Scan it and the drink is free. I've tried calling the store, but no answer. I'm thinking they are pretty busy with the holiday shoppers.
