I shop at the Giant on 610 in Stafford. They are very coupon-friendly and accept all competitor's coupons, even military coupons. I've not asked about stacking, though--I'll do that next time I go!
Wow! I know everyone tends to have their "favorite" stores to coupon, but the more I get to know each of them, the harder it is to have a favorite.I guess I need to broaden my horizens on coupon collecting (i.e. collect from stores that I don't normally go to)
My dh worked for Giant in a previous life, so he has an affinity for them and prefers to shop there. He'll be happy to know this.![]()

I shop at that one too and they have been very nice about coupons, even the ones I print off at home that the bar codes never seem to want to scan for them because of ink smearing/printing too thick I think. Did you ever find out about stacking?
Also, for anyone that can answer, when using the $/$$ coupons from other stores, it's an either or situation, yes? I mean, if I have one of those from CVS and one from Dollar General, I can't use both. I have to pick one or the other? What if one is a % off coupon and one is a $/$$ coupon? Can they be used together? I obviously want to get the most I can off my grocery bill, but I want to make sure everything is above board while doing that and the competitors' coupons usage still confuses me for some reason.
TIA!
My stores in Pasadena and Glen Burnie will not let you stack a manufactor's q and a competitor's q. They say only one coupon per item.
I'm sorry to be joining this thread SO LATE! I just started reading it and I have two $10 off of a $50 purchase from the coupon machine at CVS. Some Giants will accept those and some will not?
I have to pick my daughter up from Girl Scout camp at Fairfax Government Center. Any Giants around there that will take these? I'm pretty sure the one close to me does not or I would have seen it posted by NOW!
Just wanted to add the following as an update for Competitor Coupons--YMMV!
