Giant/SuperG ~ Question: Catalina now off regular price?

I went last night and bought 7 boxes of Nature Valley Granola bars (reg $3 ea).

The catalina for $5 did not print out. There is no way the cust svc would agree with my argument that it is off reg price so I did not even try. They gave me enough hard time in using Buy 3 Get one free coupon with 5 other .50/1 coupons.

Anyone else try and had success in NO VA?

I have noticed that the last couple of weeks, they have been running the promo as "get $5 off instantly" instead of the $5 OYNO cat. I guess you didn't see that come off your total? Asking because you mentioned "cat didn't print"....

I was planning to go tonight - hope it is not true that they have stopped using regular price to reach the $ limit!

BTW, I like the instant $ off much better than OYNO cat as I don't shop at Giant unless there is a really good deal!
