    Expired Coupons in the mail

Woohoo... I got a postcard in the mail today from Giant regarding a remodeling of a store I frequent. On the back of the postcard are 4 - 5% coupons off my total purchase (subject to some exclusions) for the next 4 weeks.

I got a postcard as well, but a different one. I received four $8.00 off of a purchase of $50.00 or more and then a corresponding "free item" coupon for each of those four weeks. The freebies are Suave shampoo, Colgate toothpaste, Dove soap, and Good Humor fudgsicles. I've gotten these before in my area (Maryland).

    I got mine this week.

10% off my purchase and 4 free items for each of the 4 weeks.

guess area stores are really hurting after HT moved in.

Since Giant "changed" I don't find much of interest.

BTW, Harris Teeter will take these. Weis will not.

Watch the weekly Giant circulars for good deals, too. When the remodeled the Potomac MD store, we got weeks of great prices on things like Tropicana OJ ($1.99 or $1.89/half gallon) and Breyers' ice cream (what used to be a half gallon for $1.88). And this was in Bethesda! There were other deals, too, but they weren't things we used. Then again, we didn't get the coupons in the mail.

All I got was a Q for a free reusable bag and free Mac salad from the deli :/ Sorry but none of the foods in the deli look appetizing to me...

Anyhow, I won't mind any of this if I win the free groceries for a year !!!! ;)
