Major Score on Edy's/Nestle!! Putting my new freezer to good use!

Our stores are having Grand Re-openings this month, so our Edy's was on sale for $1.88/ea with a limit of 3 per transaction.

So I paired that sale with the Nestle buy 4 items get $4OYNO and the $0.50 (able to double) Edy's Yogurt Blends q's that I found at Safeway.

My grand total today was $24.61 for:
6 Land o Lakes Butter $1.88 each - (3) $0.55/2q's
18 Edy's Ice creams/frozen yogurt - (6) $0.50 q's doubled (3) $0.50 (started w/9)
6 Eskimo Pie Snack Bars $2.50 each- (6) $1.00/1 q's
2 Full-size Suave Lotions $2.99 each - (2) $3.00 Lotion catalina q's
2 Colgate Kid's toothpaste $2.50 each - (2) $2.00 Toothpaste catalinas - (2) $1.00 Colgate Kids q's
Combined with the (5) $4ONYO

And I also have 1 more $4OYNO to use. My total before sales & coupons was $160.68 for an 85% savings!! And we are totally stocked on ice cream. I'm planning on making an ice cream cake for DD#1's birthday on Sunday so that will probably use 2-3 cartons, but the rest should last us a LONG time!!

We went and bought a chest freezer off CraigsList this morning and paid $50 for it, and I'm already ahead on savings because of it.

That's fantastic. I just saw that one of my local stores (by work) is having a grand re-opening, I should have checked out the deals.

Why did you have to pay for something on Freecycle... my understanding is that it's against the rules to exchange money for an item.

you aren't supposed to pay for anything on freecycle, that's against one of the biggest rules

I apologize for the mistake. I meant to say CraigsList not Freecycle. My life has been going a bit faster than my mind this last week. Sorry for the confusion.

oh good, I would have been disappointed in someone who tried to sell something from freecycle.
