Cash Register Tape (CRT) Qs

Since most of you are familiar w/ the terminology in the CVS forum, we will use the CRT abbreviation for this forum.

Recently, some of us started getting Q's on our register receipts. I got one yesterday. It was 2/$25. My order was approx $5.65 (the order that generated it)

Has anyone gotten anything other than that? Are you getting anything bigger w/ bigger orders?

I've gotten a few of those last week. The same amounts, too. Most of the cashiers won't let you use them unless you spend $25 AFTER coupons. I don't do that very often. LOL I try every time, though! LOL Sometimes I'll get a cashier that doesn't care and puts it thru anyways.

You had me curious, so I went to check the 'fine print'.
It says, Minimum spend must be met after all discounts have been subtracted from order (that would be the Bonus card), and before all tax has been added to order.

This wording above is the same wording they use on their triple coupons, which I have always believed to be BEFORE coupons. (and that is what I've always been told)

However....it also says See Store For Full List of Exclusions. I might just have to browse around the service desk area, and check out all the signage. I think I might call over to the store as well, to ask.

I DID take note that your Bonus Card # is printed on the bottom of it; so if you use one you 'found in the trash', they'd definitely be able tell.

I have gotten one of these that was 3/35 the past 2 weeks that I have gone. The orders that generated them were in the $30-$40 range.

I used the first one last week, and i noticed that the cashier put it at the bottom of my coupon pile and scanned it last.

Oh not good news. Maybe they ARE changing their policies. I guess we'll have to keep alert for new signage and such. ugh..

I have gotten 2 $3 off next purchase within the past week. Both times I used self check out.

My Giant has ALWAYS scanned "their" coupons after all other coupons have been deducted.

I received a $3 coupon off any order last week at the regular check out after spending $50 - $60 and yesterday I received another $3 off any order.

I received another 5 off 50 on Saturday.

I've never seen one of those! I always check my receipts and catalina's... they're the highlight of my trips!
