question from someone new in Qponing.......do you guys check the flyers with the weekly sales, then look for the Qs, or cut your Qs and go shopping....what you find on sale and you have a Q for you buy?????

We check the flyers w/ the weekly sales-especially the 10/$10 and the BOGOs, and and match w/ Q's-those are the ones we buy...or like the TP for example, get for free after Q.
Plus, it is wise to also carry your other Q's in the car, for unadvertised deals, clearance markdowns, etc.
What area are you in?

If you see an item in this thread, that people have gotten for FREE; save your Q's because it will probably come around again.

Another great deal @ wayne Ave. Giant! They have the discount racks out again and I got a libman broom (reg. price $9.09) for $2.37. I needed a broom too, my dollar tree special's about had it!

I think there are 3 different ad areas. It seems like one area gets it one week, and then the following week it is in a different zip code area. Are you in the Cburg area?

media, pa....i am checking it out now.....when you say you carry your coupons with you....do you actually take ALL your coupons with you?????????? and how do you do to quickly locate them without the database????

This is what I carry my coupons in:



It's divided into different categories, so if I need to find something I only have to search through a handful of coupons. This one's pretty beat up, might be time to soon get a replacement. My local stores all know my coupon "crate." I usually have the ones for the ad already pulled out, I only carry this into the store in case I come across an unadvertised sale or clearance stuff.

Me, Personally: No, I don't. I have too many Qs now to stay that organized. When I had time to file them in my binder, I did. Now, I just grab and go, and run back later for anything I didn't have w/ me. That is one good thing about living close to my stores. That will soon be changing though. Hopefully, we can find a place that isn't too far out in booneyville!

However, there are others here at HCW, that DO carry everything w/ them, including briefcases. It is a good piece of advice, that way you are always prepared...unless you're me. lol
