    Expired Turkeys

After yet another week's ad with no mention of turkey points, I called corporate to find out what's going on.
Bad news: THE LEHIGH VALLEY WILL NOT HAVE TURKEY REWARD POINTS THIS YEAR.

The customer care representative politely insisted my ad from Oct. 16 had all the turkey points information. I still had the ad in my collection of stuff and assured her there was nary a mention of turkeys. She checked with some higher-up and discovered that the Lehigh Valley stores would not be participating in a turkey reward program this year, but would instead be offering some "really great prices" on turkeys in the coming weeks.

I'll still take FREE over a "really great price."

Wait, What... My add had something about 400 points for a Turkey. Do you mean this is not happening?

My understanding is that most stores WILL be able to get a turkey with 400 points, but those in the Lehigh Valley will not. So those of us who shop in Allentown or Bethlehem are out of luck this year.
I don't know which stores are considered Lehigh Valley. The customer care rep I spoke to mentioned something about as far as Bartonsville. I don't know where Bartonsville is.

To me a turkey was not wort $12 in gas anyway. I think the turkey program generally stinks this year.

The Lehigh Valley ad finally has some mention of turkeys:

Shady Brook Farms Frozen Turkey (10-20 lb avg.) .47/lb
Limit 1 with additional $25 purchase
In ad coupon: Purchase any turkey and earn an additional 300 gas rewards points. Valid 11/6-11/12.

In case this helps, Bartonsville is in the Poconos (Eastern PA). Am hoping that Bartonsville does participate!
