Giant has a new coupon policy?

COUPON POLICY:
The customer must purchase the item to which the coupon applies.
Coupons must not be expired.
A store coupon and a manufacturer coupon may be redeemed on the same item. If the combined value for both coupons used exceeds the price of the item, the item is free. The manufacturer's coupon will be deducted first, then the store coupon will be adjusted so that it does not exceed the price of the item.
Coupons may be redeemed on damaged or discontinued merchandise that has been reduced.
We do not accept coupons from competitors.
We do not accept altered or tampered (i.e. expiration date cut off) or Xerox copied coupons.
The value of the coupon may not exceed the price of the item.

DOUBLE COUPON POLICY:
In order for a coupon to be doubled, the Customer must use their Bonus Card.
The Double Coupon Policy does not apply to FREE coupons, Catalina coupons, store coupons.
The total doubled value can not exceed the price of the item.
Only one coupon for the same item will be doubled, all other will be redeemed at face value. (Example: 12 cans of Hi-C punch, 1 coupon will be doubled, 11 will be redeemed at face value) Only one like coupon will be doubled.
All coupons with a face value up to and including .50 cents will be doubled. Example: A .50 cent coupon will be doubled to $1. All coupons with a face value from .51 cents to .99 cents will be redeemed for $1.
Double Coupon limits can vary. Contact your local store for details.

INTERNET COUPONS:
We do accept internet coupons with the following exceptions:
Coupon value can not exceed $5.
No FREE item coupons.
* We reserve the right to limit quantities.

Interesting that they are going to allow stacking but the "only one coupon for the same item will be doubled" is confusing. Does that mean if I have a .25 and .50 for the same item (Hi-C punch for example), they will only double one of those coupons since it's the same item (assuming I am buying one for each coupon)?

I had 2 different printables for kix cereal....
(2) .85/1 kix +
(2) .75/1 kix

yesterday i got 2 boxes kix + 2 boxes frosted cheerios
I used (1) $1/2 cheerios
(1) .85/1 kix
(1) .75/1 kix
all 3 coupons doubled

This part is interesting to me. Today I did the buy 4 GM cereals and get $4 off instantly and get a $4.50 off on milk cat deal. Along with the free milk cat, another cat printed off that was for $2 off instantly when you buy 5 boxes of GM cereal. I asked the girl at customer service if I could combine that cat with the other $1/2 q's I had for GM cereals. She said no. Isn't a cat a store coupon?? I'm confused. If I can get 2 more dollars off of this deal, I'll drive the 10 miles back and do the deal again.

If it says "Manufacturer Coupon" on the top of the $2/5 CAT then no you can not combine them. If it says "Store Coupon" on the CAT you can combine it with a manufacturer coupon.

Thanks, it is a manufacturer coupon, so I can only use it on it's own.
