I checked my account to add the GM cereal, but it had already been added -- guess I did it a while ago. I had the Eggland's Best coupon added, too. That one came off, according to my receipt, but the GM cereal didn't.

It's a pretty good deal on eggs, btw. They're on sale for $1.88. The ecoupon is .60 off, and there's a man q for .35. After all that a dozen eggs is .58.

    There were a few that were good deals when I loaded this coupon;
.60 off Eggland Eggs on sale for $1.88
$1/4 Goya beans on sale for 4 for $3

Nothing in mine either. Oh well. Time has run out for me to get to Giant again this week. I'm off to NY for a conference and won't be home until Sunday.

I have a question about a coupon that I used for the cereal deal. I'm finally looking at the recipe and trying to make sense out of it all. For this deal, I bought 2 boxes of Lucky Charms (the smaller boxes) and 2 boxes of Kix (again, the smaller boxes). I used 2 coupons for the Lucky Charms, both .50/1 which doubled to $2 off all together, also there was a bonus card savings of .29 for each box. The recipe says I paid a total of $3 for both of those boxes of cereal (before the instant savings). Here is what I don't understand. With the Kix, I used a $1/2 coupon....I expected just the $1 to be taken off, but looking at the receipt, I see that it took off $2. Should it have done that????

So, after all was said and done, Giant ended up paying me to buy the cereal and to get the gallon of milk.

    $5.18 2 boxes Kix
-$2 $1/2 coupon (according to receipt)
    $5.58 2 boxes Lucky Charms
    -.58 Bonuscard savings
    -$2 2- .50/1 coupons, doubled
    ______________________
    $6.18 total
    -$4 instant savings
    ______________________
    $2.18 4 boxes of cereal
    -$4.50 free milk
    ______________________
    $2.32 in "overage"

I didn't actually get the overage, but it would've been great, right!? I'm still trying to make sense out of everything on the receipt.
