Out of curiosity: How would your store handle the $2/2 Q on a BOGO? Could you use a $2/2 with 1 "set" of bagged coffee (one @ $4.79 and one free?)

Or would they require you to have 2 "sets" of bagged coffee (two @ $4.79 and two free) to honor the $2/2 coupon?

In the past, I've been able to bring two bags of coffee to the register during a BOGO sale and use the $2/2 with no problems. I have not been able to use two $1/1 on a BOGO sale -- it beeps, cashier says no, checkout coach says no, not worth the battle anymore. I can't figure out the difference between the two situations.

Back a couple of weeks ago when they had the Hormel entrees on where you buy the entree and get the side free, and I believe the entrees were $3.99 or $4.99, I was able to buy 2 of each, and combine it with 2 of the Hormel Chilis that were on sale as well. If you bought 6 Hormel products, you got such and such CAT toward your next order. So, I used 2 - $1.00/1 for the entrees, and 2 - $1.00/1 for the sides, and whatever the Q was that I had for the chili. I then added 4 dollar doublers and was able to pick them all up for next to nothing. Till you added the CATS in, heck, it might have been nothing, but I wouldn't swear to that.

It's just a tough call as to what is acceptable and what isn't. Someone on another board posted the scenario, so her store was ok with it all too.

It's a good deal on the Olay bodywash and the Secret. Buy the Secret, get the bodywash free (coming in tomorrow's paper). Have 2 Q's, buy 2 Secret, get 2 bodywash free and save $6.00 in gas. If Giant has the Secret in a trial size available (I don't buy trial sizes, so I don't know), you could buy the trial size and get the bodywash free.

Since I don't have the Q's yet, it may exclude the trial size, so make sure it's allowed before trying that scenario.
