This printed on the bottom of my receipt Monday but I could've sworn it said $500, not $600. I don't have the receipt with me so I can't confirm it (I'm in Mechanicsburg).
The bottom of my receipt says:
Spend $500 in grocery and pharmacy from 7/11/10 throough 8/14/10 at participating locations to receive 500 Gas Extra Rewards Bonus Points.
Beneath that there is a breakdown of how much I have spent and how much more I need to spend. So I am wondering if they will match point for point if you spend less. Like if you only spend $400 will they give you 400? Probably not, but it would be nice.
It also says limit 1 per customer.
I am also in Mechanicsburg. Could it be a different value in different areas?
My receipt says NADA. BOO!!

While I was at work tonight I made note of several customer receipts. Apparently the dollar spent requirement is specific the customer and not determined by location. I guess it is Giant's way of getting you to spend more money.

I am pretty sure there were several customers that did not receive anything on their receipt. I do not have any idea how Giant determines who should get what, but I am certain it has something to do with individual spending habits. They do the same thing with their coupon mailings. I work tonight so I will ask and see if I can get anymore information.
Here is the only other information I could find. I hope it helps someone.
The offer varies by customer based on hte previous spending . Everyone is supposed to receive an offer- there is a default offer, but I am not aware of what it is. It is one offer per household and the points will be added once your "purchase requirement" is met. There are only 22 stores participating.
