Monthly newsletter?

I might have gotten lost in the weekly deal thread, so I thought I would start my own

Did any of you get the monthly newsletter with any coupons in it? I didn't get mine. Nothing changed (internet provider, spam filter, etc). I thought I would ask around before I called CS.

Here's another question. Why does my post have an advertisement in it for Genuardi's Food Delivery? Is there a setting I can change?

I didn't post, because I wasn't 100% sure if I received one or not.
Let's just say if I don't have one in my email still, one of 2 things happened:

1. It was never sent.
2. It was so ridiculous of an offer, that I'd never take advantage of, so I deleted it, w/ o printing.

I'm not sure which it was.


The ads are random, and usually in the 1st post of every thread.

I'm sure HCW wants ads that relate to couponing in some way, so the readers will click on those. It helps support HCW.

I DID take notice that when someone started a topic about lice-sure enough! There was an ad for lice products underneath it! I LOL when I saw it, but...
Since taking note of that, I noticed someone mention a recipe-sure enough, there was a recipe ad underneath it.

So the ads seem triggered by a key word.

Interesting. I am wondering if Giant eliminated them or something? If I get bored tomorrow, I might give them a call and ask.

Funny about the ads. I usually don't start too many threads lately, so I haven't noticed. I DID notice those stinking ads that if you mouse over, they take up most of the screen. UG. They drive me batty!

Thanks everybody for the info. We'll have to keep a close eye out for June and see what happens. Maybe if somebody gets theirs, they can update this post or start another reminding us all to check!

How do you know what June's is already? We're still in May, and the newsletter doesn't go out until the first Thurs. of the month.
I like the 2/$5 meat better. lol
