Giant PA ~ Question: All Managers have switched stores???

At least down this way, all the managers have switched stores:sad: I was told that it is Giants policy that every 5 years the managers must move to another store! That's bad news for me cause my manager was the best!
He has moved to the new store in Altoona (which I will drive the extra distance just cause he is great). Our new manager is from the State College (College Ave) store. Not quite sure how he is yet though.
Have you gotten a new manager at your store?? If so, from which store?

Good luck with him. Out of the two Stat College stores, that one is the worst about coupons and stuff.
They insist any of the promos (like the Hershey Park deal they run) the total has to be AFTER coupons.

Great!!! I've never had problems at his old store, my problems always arise from the Atherton Street store lol
I have already had a "meeting" with him yesterday with using BOGO q's on BOGO sales. He allowed me to purchase what I had in my cart yesterday but said he was calling corporate and getting back to me
My old manager allowed my to pre-purchase items that are on gas deals if they are OOS, so I am guessing he's not gonna let me do that either????:shrug7:

Isn't it funny that we have trouble at different stores? I find the Atherton street more coupon friendly. LOL
There's one cashier on College that I will NOT go to. She scrutinizes every coupons. She's usually on register 9 or 10. Ahhh. LOL

Anbdy been to the new Altoona store yet? Curious how things were going...

I like the Hollidaysburg manager. He is nice - always smiles and says Hi to me and asks where the kids are when they aren't with me (does that ever really happen???!). I even told him I should get a job there b/c I am there so often....
We had one coupon discussion and he came back to me later and told me I was right!!! LOL No wonder I like him!

Hi MJK,
Just saw this, so you've probably all ready been. But, so far so good at the new store. The sco's are really nice. The q's go in so nicely and don't seem to get stuck like happens so often in Dville. It's really busy though. Everyone still checking it out. Hoping it will continue to take some of the traffic out of Dville and make it easier for the good gas deals to be in stock there.

Actually, I haven't been there yet. Am hoping to go tomorrow to get some of the frozen food items and use the coupons that only pertain to the new store. But all 3 kids will be with me, so it depends on how much patience I have! Actually, I guess it will depend on how well I can prepare tonight....!
