Giant PA ~ Weekly Ad: 2/28-3/6 Giant/Martins

I have never done a bogo sale at Giant with a bogo q - but I have heard that it is ymmv and it can work at some stores depending on the day and the cashier.

The Purex that is on sale, the 50oz, is regular price $4.45 at my store. So the BOGO q works with the deal. I am thinking that this should work because my store does not take off the BOGO sale price until AFTER all q's are scanned. I have been watching this hoping for a sale like this
So when they scan your q's, both Purex will still be there without the discount. Does that make sense????

It does, but are you checking out through the U-Scan or a regular line? I ask because I have noticed I can get away with two coupons on BOGO items at the U-Scan because the register does not total out before scanning coupons. But I have also noticed when I use a regular check out line, the cashier will often total out first, then scan coupons and I can never use a second coupon on BOGO items.

I have used BOGO q's with a BOGO sale at Giant with no problems. Not sure if it is really YMMV and I have just been lucky, or if it is 100% accepted.

Now what has been YMMV for me is using two $ off q's with a BOGO sale. Sometimes they won't push those through for me.

Either line works like that here. Most recently I have used a regular line. I would assume it would be store wide but maybe not:shrug7:

The sale gives you 2 Purex but you only have to pay for 1.
But I will only use 1 bogo q for every 2 purex, right? That makes the one I had to pay for free?

You SHOULD be able to. I took note that they were NOT man. Qs, and when I started doing the Q matchups, I started listing Man. Qs to go with them.

Then, I realized, that my mind skipped over the rest of the Qs, because it's not used to doing Q matchups for Qs. kwim?

But yes, you should be able to use 1 Man. Q AND 1 store Q for each item.

'Off the top of my head', there were only 2 products, I thought were good to do that with, but I don't recall what they were. I'll have to scan thru the ad and find it, and get back to you after church today.

IN THEORY, this should work just fine. I don't foresee any problems w/ this one, but you never know, until someone tries it and posts their results.

I'm finalizing a trade for BOGO Qs, so I'm counting on this deal working. I won't have my Qs for several days though.
I DO have 3 Qs here, that I can try after church today, to 'test the waters'. :)

also brawney Paper towels $4.99 in ad Q and $1/1 Brawney Q = $3.99 for 9 rolls or .43 per roll

wishbone dressing $2/$3 in ad + $1.25/2 insert = $1.75 or .85 ea

cheezit $2.49 in ad & .75/1 cheezit tearpad DBLD = $1.49

sargento cheese 2/$4 in ad + $1/2 Q = 2/$3

klondike bars 2/$4 in ad & $1/1 Ips = $1 ea
