it really does not matter much in the pgh area as most giant eagle have big signs saying they are taking all competitors coupons so that would cover coupons with other logos on them

Thanks. I'll have to check the Giant Eagles in the North Hills, Glenshaw, etc. for these competitor coupon signs when i go down that way for work today. Totally bummed yesterday because I had to get 3 scripts filled and couldn't find a new or transferred prescription coupon from anywhere. Even seems Target no longer putting the $10 giftcard ones in their ads and it's a hit or miss if you get one from their catalina machine. Charging ridiculous amount for the Target or G.Eagle prescription coupons on ebay, THOUGH just saw have nice ones from Kroger fairly cheap, like $1.99 on ebay for $25 in groceries with new or transferred script. Problem is there's no close Krogers around and even if G.Eagle accepts competitor coupons probably won't accept a Kroger one because G.Eagle probably has a mileage limit--like has to be a local competitor within 10 miles or so...Loved the days gone by when Rite Aid had a $25 Prescription giftcard coupon in their ad just about weekly...Was transferring my scripts monthly among CVs, Target, and Rite Aid!

The Brawny coupon states "available at Wal-Mart" I checked the link someone provided and from what I read I think we can still use the coupon at Giant Eagle. Can a mod please confirm. I also don't want to use a coupon that is against policy but I'm thinking we are ok here.

The $0.55/1 Post Pebbles cereal didn't double. I pointed it out to the cashier, she checked the coupon and since it didn't say DND she went ahead and manually entered it.

Thank u!!! I asked because when I used the q for the post snacks ( cereal bar things) the q didnt double. I have a bunch of these q's and want to stock up. since it'll be $0.90 a box after q doubles, its worth it. we usually dont get sugary cereal like this it'll be a treat. Thank goodness a fairly cheap treat!!

Not to beat a dead horse here,...but I just looked in the FAQ to see if can combine a b1g1 mq with a 50/1ip for the Temptations Cat Treats i just put in the High Value/Unadv. thread because I always forget if you can or not. Answer is yes!--so might want to print asap to do deal before 2/18 when the b1g1 expires. Anyway, ahh....saw in the FAQ while there copy of an email from G.E. corp whether can use mqs from other stores at G.Eagle and the answer was 'no' IF it has the " NAME" of the store on it.... It's in question #2. Of course, this might need updated since being reported a lot of the G.Eagles now have signs they accept ALL COMPETITOR coupons! Also reminder, anyone, ANYONE can add to the High Value/Unadvertised Sales thread when/if you find a good coupon or unadv. sale! :-)

I thought if it said redeem at xyx then no, it should only be used at xyx and not GE

But.......if your store (and most in the PGH area are) has a sign posted that they accept competitors coupons..the above would work at that GE

If you are talking about the printable one from cpuons.com, I used mine at Giant Ealge today with no problem.

The Brawny printable states 'available at Wal-Mart' and does not show the Wal-Mart logo anywhere on the coupon.
I used mine tonight after I saw the mod's posting about it being ok and had no problems. I used 4 in two different transactions and have four more to use later this week. Love those free paper towels.

I know most of the cashiers at my Giant Eagle and it has awesome customer service so I don't want to do anything to jeopardize my rep with that store. It's just not worth it.
