Default Off topic Bottom dollar openings

Anyone going early to get the free groceries? Do you think it will be hectic? Anyone buying the .99 cent ground beef? I hope to get 25 pounds or so.

Go here for tomorrow's grand opening news on Bottom Dollar Openings in Pgh areas. I'm in Butler so too far for me, and even the ones they're opening in Butler in February is too far/around 20 miles from me. I'm thinking though i still might receive the ad in the mail which i can then take to my local walmart to 'match it'!!! the low prices. I thought before someone said Bottom Dollar doubles coupons, but in the news report it says they take coupons but don't double. I'd say any grocery store grand opening that promises the first 200 customers a bag of free groceries is going to be crowded!!!

I'm going to be there early (hope to get the free groceries). Not too sure about the ground beef (73%) but, there is a limit of 4 per customer in the ad for the ground beef.

I intend to stock up on the chuck roasts, drumsticks and maybe pork chops. I have my $10/20 and 2 other sets of q's (will be bring someone with me tomorrow to use one of the q's)

I also will be going but not for the opening at8.00. I have 2 of them opening within 3 miles of each other ( what were they thinking??) I plan on getting quite a few roast and at least 24 pounds of ground meat ( 4 packs from each store) I also have 2 sets of the 10/20. For anyone in Penn Hills the Shop n save on Universal/saltsburg rd is honoring those coupons. Also if you are going to be in Penn Hills and do not normally shop at Community Market they have a good sale too. 67 cent a lb whole roasting chicken, 1.99 sugar dale bacon, 99 cents a dozen jumbo rggs. 99 cent ragu, 1.99 minute maid OJ.

I wonder if the 10/20 comes off before Q's? I was thinking that the Scott 12 packs for $3.99 and using $1/1 Q's and the 10/20 would = 5 packs or 60 rolls for $5!!

I went to Carnegie I got there at 7:45. We were in the first 200 which I didn't think we would be arriving only 15 minutes prior to opening ,and I am glad we were They gave you.
2 liter root beer
Iced oatmeal cookies
pancake syrup
waffle mix
utz potato chips
snyder of berlin cheese curls
loaf of bread
paper towels
canned good

Way nicer than I thought the bag would be.
Grocery wise it was nice I had the $10 off 20 coupon. I got 12 pounds ground beef, 5 pounds bananas, 4 dozen eggs, 2 pounds butter. all for 11 bucks and I got a $5 dollar off 30 dollar purchase.

I went to the one on Baldwin today and I had to wait an hour in line just to checkout! I did get the cheap ground beef and chicken thighs but I didn't have the $10 off $20 coupon.

Just a warning-the ground beef is very fatty IMO. We stopped buying it awhile back.

We went to Bridgeville (both of us received the bag of groceries). Long line to get to the register but, bought 6 of the chuck roasts and 6 pkgs of drumsticks. Roast was delicious - made it for dinner tonight.

I only use 73% for browning for like tacos or spagetti or shepards pie and after I drain it I rinse it with hot water to take the fat off
