I tried to get my two free Panko bread crumbs today but the cashier would not take my $3.00 off IP. Said that new policy is not to accept $3 and over IPs. I was not aware of that and just told them to take the breadcrumbs off my order. DANG IT! Just realized that she did not give me back my qs!!! Oy that burns me up! Also, she tried to NOT take my $0.45 Knorr sides q's by saying that they were only for the minicubes. I took one q back and said "They say for any Knorr item EXCEPT minicubes."! So, she calls manager and they run them through and double them even though they say DND. So, it really is a crapshoot anymore at GE. My trips to GE are becoming almost as painful as couponing at Walmart, and I hate, and I mean hate, shopping at Walmart.

I just double checked the new policy and it does not state '$3 and over'. It says internet coupons 'OVER $3 will not be accepted'--which means a $3 internet coupon will be accepted, but not a $3.01 or more internet coupon! I would take your receipt back for your other items to show what register you was at, take a copy of the policy or they have the policy pamphlet right at the Customer Service, and show them where it states not accepted OVER $3. Hand C.Service your receipt, and 2 boxes of the panko crumbs. Tell them the cashier at that register on your receipt didn't return your $3 coupons(which either the cashier probably kept for self or G.Eagle probably turned in for $6 reimbursement from Kikkoman!), and that you now deserve the boxes Free!!! Then help me fight my own battle with G.Eagle! I just had a bad day at G.Eagle as the cashier refused to double my coupons that say dnd. I really need a written confirmation from G.Eagle facebook or corporation that says they should double even when says dnd so I can show it to these cashiers. I know someone on here mentioned that corporate said because all customers deserve the same benefit, if it automatically doubles at the self scan and that customer gets the 'doubled' benefit, then if it automatically doubles at the regular register the cashier shouldn't try to stop it or refuse it so that customer gets the same 'doubled' benefit as the self scan customer. When my first 'dnd' coupon doubled today, the cashier looked at all the rest my qs and said they say dnd so not allowed to be doubled--and she manually deleted the one that doubled for a single value. Needless to say I said I didn't want any of the items then. So, I went to the other nearby G.Eagle and cashier scanned all them, they all automically doubled, and all was fine. BUT what I need is to be able to print out a copy of a letter from corporate rep , or g.e. facebook where a representative has stated that if the coupon automatically doubles, then the cashier shouldn't stop it from doubling even if it says dnd. Anyone have any email from corporate or facebook post/response that could be shared here so we can all make a copy to carry with us?![]()
