Another one that "shocked" me was the new Maxwell House coffee containers I saw at Walmart a few weeks ago. Noticed one of our Kroger affiliates is no longer carrying the brand at all, which explains why I found some of it in a discount bin a couple months ago. Didn't think that was a brand that would be dumped that easily, but can't help but wonder if the downsizing caused it.
I think that MH is one that used to contain a pound of coffee, and now it's only 11 ounces and change. But they still claim to make the same number of cups of coffee. I guess if you like your coffee really weak, it does!

I thought of something kind of funny yesterday. You know those little crocheted dish soap dresses? How many of those need to be taken in now?

Oui, you 'call' (e.g., you write them a letter) the manufacturer on it and they have a canned reply.

Well, here is my canned reply to those manufacturers ...

I am aware of what you are doing and I will be thinking twice before purchasing your products in the future!

Manufacturers are also 'messing' with the serving sizes on the nutritional labels ...

By making the serving sizes smaller.

If you are watching your sodium intake, you first want to ascertain the serving size BEFORE looking at the sodium content.

Do not look at the sodium content first.
