Muirfield Dublin Store is the same way, with the (4) like coupons. The discounted q's that they put out on deli, dairy and meat is unlimited (for all the stores). Just in case someone was wondering....

Many times I have gone home from Muirfield and none of my q's were doubled, I avoid that store like the plague even though it is closer to me. I like the Powell store much better.

Nice to see you all in my area and read your comments.

Frank

Not sure why but my giant eagle on Hilliard rome rd would not let me split my orders to roll over my cat. using 2 orders of 10/10. I spend $31.23 oop. and left with 1 $3 cat and a cart of pasta sauce and tomatoes. I need some major help or I just am not fit for this fulltime job of clipping coupons!:hectic1:

Next time you may want to get your first order, take it out to your car, go back in and get your next order. I know it's not exactly ideal, but it should work. If you have the time you could do a couple of orders one day and a couple the next day or so.

I do mine all in one day because I live 20mi away from GE and never had a problem with the cashiers, but when the store messed up and didn't order my hotdogs and I needed a raincheck that went by shelf price and OYNO the assistant manager had a problem with that and told me it was fraud. (!?) I purchased my items that they did have, received all my cats, which didn't make her happy so I heard and then just drove an extra 30 mi that day for the hotdogs and rest of the manwich since I knew that store had what I wanted.

I'm not suggesting you go that out of your way and I won't be doing that on a consistent basis, but it was worth it for that sale. I still go back to my regular store and do multiple transactions either splitting those up with the divider sticks or running in and out. Sometimes I get cashiers that do their jobs well, once in awhile I get one that is a little cranky when the total goes way down and then there are those that are so wonderfully happy in general and when one does so well with the deals.

Don't give up you can do this and will know and learn your store and the employees with whom you'll want to do business. It is worth it and remember to remain confident, but polite, naturally. :)

Hey... I know you! That's one of the stores I go to. Believe it or not, they are friendlier there than at the W. Broad store.

I always look the cashier in the eye and say matter of factly (don't sound like you are asking), "I have 2 separate transactions." If they give you grief, tell them that one transaction is for you and one is for a family member (your husband is a family member). If they still give you grief, tell them that you would like for them to return all of the items in your second transaction and you'll come back for them later when it's more convenient for them to let you do another transaction.

I've never had an issue with doing back-to-back transactions. I limit my transactions to 2 if I am using a cashier, and to 4 if I am using a U-Scan (SCO - self-checkout). I do adhere to the 4 coupons per person per day rule per store, regardless of how many transactions.

Just be firm in what you want and don't let them bully you. Always remember that it's YOUR transaction to cancel at ANY time.

ps: call me if you have questions!!!

Will the GE cat for $5.00 off health and beauty work on the any items, the Dawn hand revitalizer soap or does it only work with items like toothpaste, etc.?

I shop the E. Broad by Rosehill Rd, and they've never given me an issue on multiples, but most of the time I go through u-check.

I was at the Akron/Fairlawn store yesterday and they had a sign posted by their weekly ads saying " only 1 coupon per household". I couldn't believe it. I didn't pursue it further because they were out of what I wanted. I won't shop there anymore and I hope that's not a sign of what's coming for all the GE stores!

This should not be allowed at all! I would complain to corporate if this happened at my Giant Eagle! They were telling me limit 4 and there were NO signs posted! Actually if it WERE limit 1 per household, wouldn't the giant eagle advantage card catch this!!!?

Since this was about 3 weeks ago it's nice to know they have changed their policy. I wonder why each store seems to be able to dictate what their cpn policy is? Giant Eagle is a chain store so you would think all stores should have the same cpn rules.
