While I agree it's worth a shot. I don't think it will work because everything I'm reading states that the purchases have to be made at a participating store.
Being reported today that buying the $25 P&G products at Giant Eagle did not produce the rebate/receipt/form to send in for the free pink cookware. Before you throw away your transaction receipt, might want to consider this. Just read on another site that they confirmed with P&G that no official form is required.
You need to send: Name, address, zip code, and phone number,...along with your original $25 P&G transaction receipt dated between 9/28/11-10/31/11, with qualifying items of $25 circled, and post marked no later than 11/7/11.
You will receive: 3 piece mix bowl, high temp spatula, oven glove with silicone pad, 3 piece measuring cup set, silicone bake sheet, and tin cookie sheet.

I'M NOT GUARANTEEING THIS WILL WORK. THIS IS ONLY WHAT I READ ON ANOTHER SITE THAT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED. I just think if you're going to purchase the $25 in P&G products 'anyway' this week to get the $6 cat, why not give this a try before you throw away your receipt.![]()

I highly doubt it will work - in past promotions you needed a receipt from a participating store and a submission form of some sorts. Even w/o the submission form, Giant Eagle is not a participating store, so...
Well, thing is everyone who has called P&G here seems to have gotten a different answer. When I called last night I was told G.Eagle wasn't participating and Shop n Save was. Went to SnSave today and they said they didn't think know anything about it & didn't think so (if they were, wouldn't you think they'd know!). But then Pam from Post #91 in this week's ad thread said she called and was told that G. Eagle WAS participating.... Then I read on another site that when they called and was told no official form was needed, etc., and the info they got is what I posted here. I believe it was the host of the site who posted this PLUS said they sent in just their receipt last year during last year's promo with the P&G products circled, etc. and did get the cookware set. So who knowsSeems to be the norm that each person who calls gets different info depending on which rep you talk to
So though chances are slim that when I send in my receipt following the posted instructions here I'll receive nothing, I have nothing to lose, so what the heck! Instead of just throwing away my receipt, maybe I'll get lucky and a little pink package of cookware will show up on my doorstep someday!

I deleted this post. I think I was mistaken on what I said

ITA. I was told that the rep was "100% certain" there were no stores participating in Ohio or Michigan. I called back the next day and was told Meijer was partcipating & got a list of other stores that were not. Someone else was told Marc's was participating and did find rebate forms there.
I personally have gotten this rebate the last two years. One year I did have a rebate form and one year I didn't. One thing the reps seem certain about is that you don't need a form.
This year I did send my receipt from a store that I was told was non-partcipating. Someone on SD has sent a RA receipt for the past two years (confirmed by many folks as not partcipating) and has received the cookware. That same person sent a RA receipt again this year and received an e-mail that said their submission was processed and her cookware would be delivered in several weeks.
In all honesty, due to the confusion they have among their customer service reps, it'd be fairly easy to argue that your request should be honored. No one can get a straight answer as to who is partcipating and who isn't.
IDSO: Box Tops For Education! Will trade nicely but will not pay in cash or stamps.
Rest in peace my sweet Stanley: 2/23/04-2/9/10
Hope everyone sent in their giant eagle receipts, per original post, because i've been following/checking up on my Cooking Up Early Detection free bakeware online. Around a month or so ago, said it was received/accepted. Read usually takes 3 months to receive cookware from day of submission. Today, i received a postcard that due to overwhelming response i should expect a delay and expect to receive my FREE cookware by 4/30/12. So, long story short, because got so many different information from different Cooking up Detection reps if or not giant eagle was participating, i took a chance and mailed in my giant eagle receipt of all covergirl makeup got free anyways with the 8/2 coupons at the time and now got postcard verifying i will be receiving the cookware. Hope others here took the chance also with only the cost of a stamp...Nothing ventured, nothing gained!
