They should!! It's taking money out of their pockets.. At least the ones they haven't caught and had to dish out money for the wrong coupons.. Maybe I'll create a show like the same concept as the view and we can all go on there and talk about the ignorance of dumb people trying to scam the system!! We can call it the rant!! Haha ok maybe it's only funny to me, but I'm serious! I'm sick of this! I was reading yesterday about the whole coupon decoding!! I didn't know what it was and thought I would educate myself... OMG is all I have to say! I can't believe someone would risk going to jail over misusing a coupon to the extreme!! Yet here I am getting excited about going to the store tonight to grab my .49 bob Evans links for my spaghetti!!!.. I would love to see someone try to pull that off where I live and have the cops standing outside waiting for them!

I absolutely HATE the coupon shows!!! I hear about it all the time. and when i go to my local stores i see coupons all the time and they all have their carts loaded!!! like this past week, and this is no joke!! I was at GE to get 5 boxes of the quaker smash bars that were included in the sale and i went to where these were at and the whole shelf was cleared when i had just called 2 hours prior and they said they had tons. well while i walking around i seen a lady with a coupon binder exploding with coupons with atleast 40 boxes stacked in her cart. i asked to see one and i noticed they expire in 3 months. She then told me how she went to 4 GES and took off all these coupons from bags of chips. I just shook my head and walked away.

Really what do you need with 40 boxes...can you really eat 200+ granola bars in 3 months?
    I love Avon!

my local ge just changed the policy to like 4 coupons and the pic has to match the item or it's a no go.

The only thing u can do is pre order and they will let u use up to 12 coupons at cs.. They said they can't keep up with the demand and with people now price matching at walmart, it's hurting them. Too many old people complaining!! Sorry had to rant as I didn't realize "that show" came back last night!!!! Theses weiros will be the death of us!!!!
    Q) The picture on the coupon has to match the product?

    Yikes!

    Q) What about the wording on the coupon (i.e., 'any')?

'Any' trumps the picture / illustration because there is no way possible to accurately represent all the possible products that coupon is valid for.

TLC's Extreme Couponing does not bother me one bit.

If anything, it will help refine the coupon policies out there.

I know no one here is condoning misuse of coupons, but I edited some posts to remove any specific types of misuse - we do not want to give anyone any ideas!

And this is why I won't order/buy tearpad, blinkie, or peelie coupons from sellers on ebay. I know sellers are doing this just to then sell them and make a profit. I know the coupons i order/buy on ebay could also be from stolen inserts, but for some reason this seems less likely to me. If you notice it seems stores are now putting the sunday papers right by the registers--where there's lots of cameras and lots of witnesses. Would be hard not to notice someone putting 50 papers in their cart then returning those 50 papers to the newspaper stand minus inserts, or standing at the newspaper stand going thru like 50 sunday papers and removing the inserts. I think, that ebay should ban sellers from selling the tearpad, peelies, and blinkies. I also don't understand why manufacturers aren't cracking down on these ebay sellers selling their tearpad, blinkie, or peelie coupons. I understand people might have a friend or family member that's a rep for these manufacturers and ,therefore, are given a couple coupons here and there to try the products and hopefully become brand loyal,....BUT these ebay sellers are selling HUNDREDS at a time! There's no way they could get that many other than through devious/unethical ways--like the Birdseye fresh coupon!

I pack 3-4 kids lunches everyday and they all get a granola bar for snack. So I could probably use that many boxes within 3 months but WOULD NOT go around stealing tear pads, clearing shelves, etc just to get them.

eBay will never do that. Coupon sellers are only a very small fraction of their total listing. eBay does not even take listings down with clear violations in them even after reported multiple times by several people. They could care less where the coupons come from. All they care is they get to charge a listing fee, a final value fee when sold, a fee on shipping cost and a fee on paypal. (eBay owns paypal). They also could care less when buyers over and over again pull scams on sellers. (receive empty box with no item inside but it is the THIRD time in a month it happened....or item not as described but they switched item out a replaced with a fake one and have done it MANY times to many sellers and the seller is forced to refund and gets a return of a fake item so they now cannot sell it) They also are aware of fraudulent coupons but do not pull the listings down. All they care is they make their money and will not spend resources to investigate coupon sellers.
