I went to Giant PA and used 1 and it did NOT double, when I asked why, the manager b/c of PA law milk (and cigarette) coupons do not double? I said well the coupon doesn't state DND? She said that's PA law? Anyone else have any problems?

well the one in meadville pa wouldnt double the coupons. They dont say dont double either but they said the couldnt override them. We talk to a manger he said that they should give us our money back and they did but when we went to get more they wouldnt override them because the computer wouldnt let them go thru! they are a private store

I think this is a YMMV issue. By Giant Eagle's own policy, they will not double dairy coupons. It is prohibited by law supposedly, due to the powerful dairy lobby and mandated pricing in the state of PA.

They doubled my nesquick at Giant Eagle. "Regular" milk products like local brands usually don't work with coupons. Btw, Giant PA may have different rules than Giant Eagle.
