    HAPPY DANCE Weekly Brags

    Hello all

I think the weekly threads are getting clogged w/ shopping trip brags so I figured I'd make a spot where we can all show and tell.

    What should go here:
-Postings about what you bought today/this week (you can spell it out anyway you want, detailed or not so detailed - as long as it follows HCW policies of course!)
    -Pics of what you bought

    What shouldn't go here:
    -Current Deal Info
    -Scenarios for upcoming sales
    -Questions about current deals
(all of this should be in the weekly thread or if a hot deal, in its own thread)

I hope this helps everyone by keeping the weekly deal thread clean yet giving us all a place to show off a bit

Today, while going over my receipt, my cashier said "wow, you have alot of savings" even though my total 12 MO Savings don't show coupons. I did the max on them, and soon to max out the weekly specials.

Miss Jen, I posted my brag in the weekly thread. I'll put it here where it belongs; could I trouble you to delete my other one?

    9/30/10
Just got back from my Giant Eagle (Cleveland, OH) with much success to report!

    Trans 1: 8 1lb packages of OM bologna (BOGO); 4 $1/2 Q - total $11.12
    rec $10 cat
    Trans 2: 6 Maxwell House coffee; 4 $1/1 Q, $10 cat - total $21.94
    rec $20 cat
    Trans 3: 8 packs 2% sharp cheddar Kraft singles; 4 $1/2, $10 cat - total $2
    rec $10 cat
Trans 4: 4 packs OM hot dogs (BOGO), 6 Meow Mix singles, 2 20oz Pepsi Max, 1 Tic Tacs, 1 Snickers, 1 Milky Way; $5 cat, 2 $1/2 OM, $.75 Tic Tacs, BOGO candy bars, 3 $1/2 Meow Mix - total $1.87
rec $5 cat, $1 cat (Meow Mix)

    Total shelf: $124.08
    OOP: $36.96
    Remaining cats: $21
    Final OOP: $15.96

    Not bad for a n00b.

My store only had 6 packs of the OM hot dogs in the whole place, so I just got 4 for now and will get the other 4 on another trip.

    10/2/10

    Trans 1: 6 Kraft squeeze mayo (2 lite, 2 regular, 2 olive oil), 4 OM hot dogs; less 3 $1/2 mayo, 2 $1/2 hot dog, $15 cat - OOP $5.56
    rec $15 cat

Trans 2 (the big one): 14 Kraft shredded (mozz, sharp cheddar, pizza, taco), 2 sharp cheddar singles, 6 Healthy Choice frozen meals, 2 bags Gorton battered fish, 2 Giant Eagle soup, 1 BC cake mix, 4 pouches BC cookie mix, 1 Tabasco sauce, 1 Wilton cookie sheet, 2 bottles wine (); less $5/5, 3 $1/2 shreds, 3 $1/3 Healthy Choice, two $1 Gorton's, 1 $.75/1 Tabasco, 4 $.50/1 cookie mix, 2 FREE GE soup, FREE cookie sheet promo, $15 cat - OOP $41.95
    rec $15 cat

    Total shelf: $168.21
    Cash paid today: $47.51
    Cats remaining: $21
    Final OOP: $26.51 - 84% savings

    - The Tabasco was on sale for $1.49 so AC I got it for $.24! Nice!
    - Look on Gold Medal flour for $.50/1 peelies for the cookie pouches.
    - I never got the email about the free GE soup, however when I was walking past the display of it there was a lady futzing with what appeared to be coupons, taking some and putting some down. When she walked away I went to see what she'd left and there were 3 coupons for free soup! YAY! As I was looking over the selections lady and (I assume) her young son came up to look, so I gave her one of the freebie coupons. Payin' it forward.

I am officially out of room in our freezer. I wound up going to the Southland store so I could stop by my mom's to store cheese, bologna & hot dogs in her stand freezer. Oh lordy, what have I become??

    Thanksgiving re: Weekly Brags

I bet I did the kraft deal of 10 packages of cheese at least 15 times this week (that's 30 coupons). I sent someone 6 kraft hunger coupons, and I sent someone else 10 of them as well. I now have about $250 Steeler bucks also. This kraft deal on the singles put me way up there. I also figured out to buy 7 2% American Singles for the Steeler bucks, buy 1 chunk that was on the list and I could buy 2 of any other cheese I wanted. This ends up 7*3.99= $27.93 + $2.89 = $30.82 for 8 cheeses shelf price, the two extra were bonus, and I also got Steelers bucks all for FREE. I just figured this out last night. Basically I fed a whole bunch of people with all the coupons I printed for the fight for hunger promo. I think it was 10 per coupon. I am burnt out on cheese! LOL

I couldn't be bothered with the math, but here is what I got:

4 Miracle Whip in the bigger jar
6 Miracle Whip in the squeeze bottle
6 Kraft mayo in the squeeze bottle
18 Maxwell House (had 10 coupons, bought the rest without because others didn't arrive in time). I should also add that my husband's work is buying these from me at $5.99 each, I don't drink the stuff.
36 packages of cheese in various varieties (I did 6 transactions with it, but put 1 extra with each just in case I got a cheese that's not marked)

I wanted to get some hot dogs, but they were sold out.

I got no less than 30 boxes of Hamburger Helper, Tuna Helper, Chicken Helper.

24 dog treats (thanks to you all)
8 cake mixes and frosting and 2 free pans
    12 packs of Bumble Bee tuna (5 5oz. 7 2.5oz)
1 pack of 7 singles Taster's choice (will stay on the lookout for Qs)
10 Totinos Pizzas and they are HORRIBLE! I am ready for the rolls this week
20 or thereabout in Dole Crisps

Giant/Martin's also ran some fabulous deals up to Saturday, and between the 2 stores, it kept me quite busy. There I got:

50 bottles of SoBe lifewater (got about $90 in free gas for buying this), then that sale ended and 2 days later - $1.00 each
100 bottles of Propel or thereabouts (got about $180 in free gas just for buying them at $0.88 for 24 oz. bottles)
21 or so 6 packs of Deer Park water (got about $36 in free gas here and the water was basically free)
20 bottles of Nesquik - free
20 or so bottles of Loreal Vive Pro (shampoo, conditioners and stylers at $0.50 each). I prolly got way more than 20, but I don't want to count, lol.
15 or so Danimals - free
15 or so Borden specialty cheeses - free
    12 Dole Crisps - free
15 or so Chex Mix - $0.50 each
30 or more Glade candles at $0.25 a piece
lots and lots and lots of dog treats and about 50 cans of Alpo - Alpo free, dog treats cheap
lots and lots and lots of cat treats - free
12 Hydro razors (fulfilled a rain check) - $5 total
6 Hydro shave gels (also rain check) - free
30 or more Hamburger Helpers here too - free I think
    10 Carpet Fresh (totally free)
Uncle Ben's rice not sure how many - free
Meow Mix singles free probably about 30 or so
    6 Welch's juices @ $0.50 each
10 or so Fabreeze set and refresh - $0.50 each
20 Kool Aid Fizz - free
10 or so Blue Diamond Almonds - $0.49 each
4 Bestlife buttery spread - free

and probably lots more that I just can't remember right now.

I am just tired of shopping!!!
