Giant Eagle ~ Promo: Black n Gold Bucks

just saw a promo commercial on the steeler game, this year its buy 7 get 7 bucks, didnt see birds eye listed. Hopefully something good, got over 500 steeler bucks last year Some of the items listed were planters, ritz, oreo, lunchable. Its starts sept 9 and runs all season long.......glad to see its back. Come on something free with coupons.........

Can someone explain the 'black and gold bucks' to me? I live in Steeler territory but must have slept thru this promotion if it was held in past years. What, you buy 7 items included in the promotion at Giant Eagle only, and you get a $7 catalina oyno off anything, or $7 off Steeler items (steeler mugs, etc) sold at G.E.?

you get $7 in steeler bucks to spend at the Steeler store. You can use multiples when you purchase stuff there - I bought 5 or 6 jerseys last year

Don't make the mistake I did last year: I was new to this whole couponing thing last year and I had mega steeler bucks (and lots of frozen veggies!) so one day I picked out $50 worth of steeler merchandise at the GE store; I didn't realize I had to visit the on-line store. Duh.
The cashier was kind and all and voided my order but her look was like, get out of here crazy lady. I didn't go back to her for awhile.

Does anyone know how far the promo goes? I am in central PA. Will this be in my area as well, or is it only for those in the Pitt area?

i got 2 jerseys last year... this year i would love to get he blow up Steeler player... they had them in the store last year $199
so this is my goal this year....
