Giant Eagle ~ Question: is this just my GE??

so i know ge doesn't carry peter pan pb. i went today to use my eckrich kielbasi qs, and they don't carry it anymore! i also went and checked for the price of barilla pasta sauce and again, not even on the shelf. has anyone else noticed this? is this just my parmatown ge? is this because corp/private? i feel like i totally have missed this as i usually shop my list, do very little browsing,get in and out. thx for any input.

I'm a Parmatown shopper too. I know that some other GE's don't have Peter Pan PB too. And weird about the Ekrich Sausage, I ate some for dinner tonight that I know I bought there, just a few weeks ago at the last sale.

Is Parmatown/Day Dr corporate or private. They've been very good to me, I've been doing lots of transactions and have had ZERO problems. I've seen very little stock issues too. I've only lived in Parma for about 6 weeks so I'm still new to this GE, I'm coming from Lyndhurt/Mayfield Rd area.

GE doesn't carry a lot of products that other stores do, I've noticed. They have a much more limited selection than Kroger or Meijer have in my area.

I have confronted the managers there many times and they never admitted or denied. Any other store I ask if it is a corporate store they give me a positive yes!
Just a couple miles away, Southland & BrookPark are by far the BEST GE's around here and corporate!

I've been disappointed that my GE only carries 1 type of Eckrich. I want the turkey one.

Another thing I wondered does GE even carry turkey breakfast sausage? The only kind I ever see is precooked patties/links. What I'm looking for is the raw 1lb chub o' sausage. I would think GE would be more with it...I thought more people were eating turkey sausage these days? Super Walmart has Perdue turkey sausage for $2.97...no coupons though...sigh!

When I emailed Perdue in the past with my compliments, I received a couple of coupons. No stocking up, but at least you could save a couple bucks.

TO Whom it may concern: Just went to GE and guess what? Suddenly they do have 4 types of Eckrich including Turkey! Lots of Barilla too...but I forgot to look for Peter Pan.

Thanks- Parmatown is super convenient for me. I just found Southland the other day- but didn't go in the GE, I'll have to check it out, and Brookpark too. Most days convenience wins as I usually head to the store at 9pm after the kids go to bed.
