I suck at getting fuelperks too - most times it's 10 or 20 cents and it takes a whole month to do that much lol. Since I buy the groceries for my sister, hers isn't that great either - unless she buys gc's
I shop for my mom at GE and pick up a few things here and there for others but I always use my card. I figure I am spending my time so I get the perks..LOL.. GE is my mian shopping for meat, milk, etc so I do actually have to spend money on groceries. Especially since my kids have been going thru a gallon of milk a day. Also when pop is on sale I stock up a ton... Thats helps a lot of the fuel perks.

I have been buying a lot of gifts cards since we moved as well. Unfortunately I needed most of mine before the 20¢/$50 but I did pick up a couple more just in case.

That is what we do - doesn't matter how much we have in fuel perks as long as we get 30 gallons of gas.

Foodperks on the other hand - i always wait and buy $300 to get the full $60 discount. If I have 20% and don't need a big order, I let my sister use it for baby formula. She is going this week armed with 14 $5/1 MQ's, 2 $5 checks from the manufacturer for Enfamil and my 20% food perks so she will have a total savings of $140.00 - oh and we just found out the formula is on sale this week so that is another $2 off per can

So she gets a discount on formula and I get her fuel perks - it works for us

I have reached 20% off groceries twice since the program started here in OH. The first time I had $302.xx in my cart prior to discount/q's - the majority of items were meats/fish (about $200), things I didn't have a lot of q's for so my savings from the 20% was $58.xx. Last week, I made another $301.xx shopping trip but I had close to $100 off in q's - my savings was only $52.xx from the 20% and I used too many q's to figure out the details. So, I looked on the GE website and didn't buy any of the things they listed as not applying for the discount (gift cards, alcohol, tobacco, etc). My tax was only $3.xx so I should have gotten closer to $60 in savings from the fuel perks. Does anyone know if anything else is excluded from the 20% that is not listed? Also, what about "free" items with q's? I assumed those items would be MM since the 20% is before q's but maybe I am wrong. If anyone has insight into this, that would be great - thanks!

The 20% is not before coupons. I think it is after the first coupon value, not the doubled part. I used mine once and they told me $7 before the coupons, but when it was done I looked on the receipt and it was only around $4.

Yes, it is NOW after ALL coupons. First couple times I used my foodperks it only adjusted the "double" part of the coupons. Today, I started with a $360.00+ bill and I used my 10% FP's,(big $$$discount at first but kept adjusting as the coupons were entered) after all coupons were entered, I received a mere $5.00 FP discount.
