QUESTION Shortcuts/E-Offers attaching to wrong product?

I bought one BC Warm Delights for $1.67 and used a 75c coupon. When I looked at my receipt it showed "Scuts Cheerios -75c". I didn't buy any Cheerios so I know the e-offer I loaded (from GE website) for Cheerios attached to the Warm Delights. Not only that but the 75c coupon I used didn't fully double; it only doubled to 92c. Instead of paying 17c for the Warm Delights I actually got them for free. I just thought it was weird that the e-offer couldn't tell the difference between a Cheerios and another General Mills product. It doesn't really matter to me this time since I probably never would have bought Cheerios before the e-offer expired. Has this happened to anyone else?

What I expected:
Warm Delights $1.67
- 75c coupon
- 75c (doubled)
= 17c

What happened:
Warm Delights $1.67
- Scuts Cheerios 75c
- 75 coupon
- 17c (doubled)
= FREE

Now that you mention it. When I bought the betty crocker snack size cc cookies... I saw on my that a ecoupon was applied and it said it was from the Nut clusters. I had wondered about that but forgot to check online. That happened this morning.

I had a similar thing happen, Nature Valley Granola Thins attached to one of my cereals last night. Not sure which one. I think they are having problems with the eoffer, shortcuts, cellfire systems.

I see what you are saying and I don't have the answer to that but I have a question in the same general category.
I know you shouldn't use shortcuts and eoffers at the same time as you will use one and lose both. And I know that you need to register for each one. But are they the same thing? The reason I ask is that I see from your post that the abbreviation for the eoffer is "scuts" which I always took to mean shortcuts. Is there a different abbreviation for eoffers?
I hope my question isn't too confusing.

I also had a Shortcuts offer deducted from my receipt yesterday and I didn't purchase the product. Glad to hear that other people were experiencing the same issue. I guess we all got a little "bonus" this time.

Although this is just an educated guess on my part and has no basis in fact, I'm guessing that GE leases the Shortcuts platform and has renamed it "eoffers" since they already had that name in place. If this is true, then they are basically the same service and loading the same offers from both would be redundant. I wish they would clarify this to avoid confusion. I have not tried to load offers from each website to use simultaneously since I heard this doesn't work.

So, I figured I wasn't the only one. I assume the Shortcuts/e-offer is only reading the first part of the UPC which is 16000 for most General Mills products.

I just got back after doing 15 separate trannys.. 1 tranny was for 20 warm delights, 4 cokes 2L, 2 olay bw & 2 ivory soap, Balance was 86 cents. I just noticed there were 12 eoffer coupons that deducted on this receipt, 10 Scuts and 2 were cfire which I DON'T use! 1 was from the warm delights -.75. They definitely have a program error here.
