Giant Eagle ~ Question: Why is Friskies Cat food ringing up cheaper?

I bought the 30 cans of Friskies cat food and noticed that for every 9 cans I scanned, $2 was deducted from my total. 30 cans should have been $10 but ended up being $6. After using (2) $1 off 15 cans coupons I paid $4 for 30 cans or 13c a can. Did anyone else notice this? What's the extra $4 off for?

I have no idea but, I will definitely be trying this deal tomorrow - that's an excellent price and I have a ton of q's (now to hope that they have the one flavor that my cat will eat LOL)

Tried a repeat of Sunday's amazing cat food deal and it didn't work this time. It was definitely some sort of glitch that gave me a triple discount on the cat food. Darn! Oh well...it was nice getting it the first time!
