Rain checks during a sale!!!!!!!!

This is just a glitch in the system. The cashiers are suppose to adjust the price to equal the raincheck after the current sale discount. Most cashiers just don't pay attention....

The manager said that was how the system worked, but that they didn't change it as a courtesy to their customers.

That's right, rainchecks are to be redeemed at the price stated on the raincheck! Many times I have instructed the cashier to ring my items up at a higher price to offset the sale and get me to the stated price on my raincheck! If they override my item to the raincheck price and it shows a discount, I tell them to add that to the raincheck price and ring it up that way! That's ONLY fair! Keep in mind when GE loses money, it comes outta everyone's pocket!

I went back in to question it, but the manager wasn't changing anything, so I did attempt to pay the right price, but they wouldn't let me.

The whole reason I went back in was because I didn't feel right when I realized what had happened. I always go back into stores when they don't charge the right price. I had CS at Walmart tell me I was strange one time because they had charged me twice for something, but then took it off twice, so I never paid for the item. I went back in so they could charge me for it. The last thing I want is bad shopping karma.
