Giant Eagle ~ Question: What coupons are you buying weekly?

I thought maybe we could update this thread listing out what coupons we are buying weekly. Like, 'I am buying the .75/1 Ballpark Q's. They go on sale BOGO at GE frequently.'.

I have started buying q's lately but tend to get them on Monday when the new ad is posted. Perhaps some of the veterans could point out ones they buy right away?

This week I bought the 2.50 electrasol q, .75/1 ballpark q and the .50/1 Luigi's. BP hot dogs usually go BOGO and we tend to get a nice Luigi's deal. I am not sure if I remember a good Electrasol deal at GE or not.

What do you guys think?

Free with the coupon, I don't know when the sale is over, but I have been buying these for over a month, usually will get 10 every time.

$1/1 & $2/2 Fresh Express Blends and Complete kits 8/31

Free salad for the last 2 months with GE's Sale 10/10 (2 times), shelf life is approx. 2 weeks, got rainchecks, and used the weeks they were not on sale. About time for another sale.

I noticed these coupons first in march, they keep running new coupons for the same deal when the old ones expire(i think this is the 5th time these q's have been issued since march), use 1 of each q and get them both free, just pay sales tax. I have used over 1000 of these coupons that way and just paid sales tax.:)

This is such a good idea! I hope more people chime in. I know I too usually buy my coupons on monday after the add came out, and here I am, still waiting for all of my coupons.

Those were the recent ones I remember buying ahead of time in case of a sale or still great for everyday price at GE.

Please tell me which store will let you use both. I have tons of these q's that I need to use for our church homeless program.

I don't think there is and usually I think they are on sale for $1.50 so if you have a Dollar General you might want to check there as I believe they are a $1 so all the same in the end unless GE possibly runs a cat too.

Easier for me If I state which store don't take these: I haven't found 1 yet.

I make sure to separate the coupons, If you buy 5 of each at a time, give them 5 of the one coupon, then 5 of the other coupon. I also try to remember the price on both so when the cashier has to fill in the price. I have had a few question the q's, because they thought they were the same, until I pointed out 1 is for free deodorant and 1 is for free body wash.

I have also had a couple cashiers state that I can not get both for free, at the same store which other cashiers run the coupons as stated.

If they won't accept the coupons as stated, then I won't buy them!


I even taught 1 cashier what buy means, straight from the english dictionary:

buy

 –verb (used with object)
- to acquire the possession of, or the right to, by paying or promising to pay an equivalent; purchase.
-to acquire by exchange or concession.

–noun
-an act or instance of buying.
-something bought or to be bought; purchase:


Whether I give cash, check, credit card, food stamps, government funds,etc... or even COUPONS, I am buying these items and paying with an equivalent!




Not very common for a manufacturer to issue 2 separate coupons that cancel each other out!

On a side note, it's just like using a B1g1f coupon on a B1g1f Sale! Oh I wish covergirl would come out with more B1g1f coupons, please. They issued those coupons twice this year and boy did I take advantage of those too!

1 more thing, why is it everytime I am in line with someone using those government funded vouchers or foodstamps or whatever they are called, they buy what they are allowed to on the voucher thingys, on separate transactions.

Then when they have to pay, they get themselves, beer, wine, cigarettes, and other stuff, and NEVER use a coupon!
