Giant Eagle ~ Weekly Ad Discussion: 6/24 week - Chit Chat

I know it is a little early, but I am already looking forward to next week's ad. There have been some nice coupons out and I would love to use them!

There is the new Jell-o pudding snack $.60/1 (I think Pgh area got $.35/1), the $1/1 Dentyne, the $1/1 Bagel Bites, and a few others I would love to see a sale to match up w/.

Once again I have no clue what I want to be on sale. I waited and waited for Hebrew Nationals, but nope it didn't happen. I still got some for $1/pk with a raincheck and coupon x 6/20, but would have enjoy $.20/pk more. ;)

A-1 steak sauce, Ball Park hotdogs, & laundry detergent(I am almost out of my free purex with the b1g1f q's & sale) I was hoping they would have run a good sale with the biz $3.00/1 q, but any sale that'll get me some cheap with the q's, and possible cats, will work!

Ohhh and I almost forgot----> Tabasco...I have many 75/1 ANY q's (exp 7/4)

I got an email for buy 2 Huggies Swimmer diapers and get 3OYNO. That starts 6/24 to 6/30. There should be coupons for these. I think the prices are 8.99 each?

Hey, did you know that you can make your own laundry soap and it's REALLY cheap..its a 3 ingredient soap...2 of them last 6 months and the one last 3 months..so you can laundry soap that will last for 6 months on less than $10.00..it's really cheap if you ask me, since you can spend at least $10.00 a month on laundry things..also don't buy dryer sheats, use tennis balls, it fluff's your clothes very well..

The last 3 weeks to a month have stinked for me at Giant Eagle. I admit though, I don't know if it's because they have not had great sales or that I am soooooo stocked up that I am not looking as hard as I used too. With that being said, I too, do not know what I would like to find on sale! lol! Guess anything non-perishable, since my freezers and pantries are full and I don't want my money to go to waste.
My subdivision is having a community yard sale Saturday and my MIL wants me to sell off some of my stockpile. I just cannot bring myself to doing it. Call me superstitious, but I am worried that if I sell any of it, then my luck will end and we will actually desperately need to have it. The fear of loss of jobs and/or medical hardships that eat away savings, weighs heavy on that superstition.
Sitting here typing, I just thought of something I could use!! Diapers! I have not been buying an excessive amount because we are slowing potty training, but diapers are really low this week! lol!

Guess I'm just in a chatty mood! Sorry about the nonsensical post. lol!

LOL, I missed that, but what in the world happened to OYNOs with the last several sales? BooHoo. I think I may still go ahead and buy some more since we decided to have a cookout for "Hollywood's" birthday.

They are $6.65lb regular price, $3.33lb on sale $1.33lb on sale with coupon. Great price for any all beef let alone KOSHER.

Now Jumbo size is $10.16/lb regular, $5.08 sale and $2.90/lb on sale with coupon, but I'm assuming most smart shoppers are buying the regular bunsize, not jumbo size.

It's a personal choice, but I'd rather spend an extra $1/lb for kosher beef than mixed meat hotdogs.
