WIC and fuel perks?

My daughter has her first wic appt tomarrow, and I was wondering if you get the fuel perks when using the wic check?

When you use your WIC, the cashier will scan your card and you will get fuel perks!
My foster daughter needed pediasure and got it from wic last year. It always counted towards my fuel perks.

Yes it does! It's funny, with all the couponing I have been doing thanks to HCW, the only way I really am accruing fuel points has been through my wic checks!

I actually accumulate on PREcoupon totals. It was great getting rewarded on $500 in groceries and only paid $20 or so. ALSO, yes, Wic, Foodstamps...they will all go toward your fuel perks.

I know this was not your ? my wic said you can also use coupons so if its like you get milk and you have a coupon buy milk get fruit for free you can use them or cents off they encourage to save wic money at my wic office.They also told me if I ever had a issue useing coupons to have the store call.Thanks Linda

Thanks for letting me know! I guess GE is where i'll be taking her shopping! Also, I didn't know you could use q's with wic checks. Glad to hear that also.

You can use coupons with your WIC checks as long as the coupon is for what is listed on your WIC checks. HTH!!

I think it's a great idea to use coupons with WIC; you're helping the government stretch their budget that way. And Lord knows...they need all the help they can get!
