gilette deal did not work???

i just tried the giant eagle deal on the fusion/satin care dealand it did not work for me......anyone know why??

i bought 1 fusion razor and two bottles of satin car shave cream and no 4.00 cat...had to return them and they had to fish out the coupons..they acted like it was a big deal:shrug7:

I noticed today that on the venus razors some types had a lower shelf price.

What was the total shelf price of your items?

Someone mentioned on another thread that the Fusion MVP weren't included ...I'm hesitant to try this again becasue last time I didn't get the cats, and then I was told by SC that although I purchased the right amt (regardless if it was going by sale or shelf),it didn't work because I used coupons....:shrug7:

I bought in my first transaction 1 mvp fusion (the one with a battery) and 2 satin and I did receive one $4 cat. My next transaction I bought 12 satin and received 2 $4 cats. The mvp razor was marked at $9.99 shelf and the fusion was $8.99. You need to buy the mvp. I think the shelf prices are different at each store...the shave gel was $2.59 for me.

I too bought one razor and 2 shaving creams and NO CAT. :shrug7: I used a $4 on next H&B order CAT that pretty much covered the extra money. I didnt want to cause a scene with the kiddos in the cart. But i did notice that the razors all seem to be different prices and different GE have higher or lower prices on the same items.

I tried last nite:

3 Fusion non-powered, they were in a separate display with a couple other razors, and I thought they were the 9.99 ones. Bought 1 Satin Care - that should have took me over 30$. Only one 4$ oyno popped out, so I took the other 3 razors and 1 satin care off the belt for my 2nd transaction and let the cashier know I didn't want them.

I stopped on my way to look at my receipt and the razors were only 8.99! Soooo went over to CS and asked if I could return the 3 razors, 1 Satin Care and the 4$ oyno and try again - and she actually let me! LOL I told her that I totally messed up my math :) Oh - and to let her know I wasnt trying anything funny, I asked if she could put the refund on a GE card since I was going to go right back through the line with the same stuff!

I took those items and ran over to my cashier and asked for the items I had given her - ran back and grabbed the last 2 Satin Care LOL ( I know I only needed one more, but figured I'd grab the 2nd just in case hehe)

Went right through again - used the 3 razor coupons and 1 Satin Care coupon I didn't use the first time around, and 2 more Satin Care coupons for the new satin cares:

Got 6 Razors @ 8.99, and 4 Satin Care @ 2.49 shelf prices, which was over 60$
Got my (4) 4$ oyno of HBA

Way more hassle than it was worth - but oh well LOL

In summary, all of the razors worked. The battery powered one has a shelf of $9.99, the un-powered MVP and Fusion only have a shelf price of $8.99. All of them work for the deal, you just need to make sure your shelf prices are correct.

The plain fusion razors were on sale at my GE for 6.99 this week so i had to buy 2 razors and 1 satin care. I have done the deal a few times and not had any problems.
