Giant Eagle ~ Good Deal: Chung's Chicken Egg Rolls (35 cents off)

I know that Chung's Chicken Egg Rolls have been discussed on here, but not sure what message that was in. The coupons are at Welcome to Chung's - Coupons and you can actually print 4 per page 2 front and 2 back if you change your paper size in your printer properties to save on paper. Otherwise, they print one per page real small in the center. These are still on sale 2/$1.50 with 35 cents off coupons, making them only 5 cents each.

Note: Market District has them, but I do not think some of the smaller GE's have the singles, just the boxed variety, which are more. They are usually in the freezer section, in a box near the hot pockets.

I have picked up quite a few of these already and I have to say they are quite good. I enjoyed them 3 times this week!

I just wanted to mention that my GE wouldn't take them b/c they didn't have a watermark on them....Booh....Well, let me rephrase. He took the 5 I had.....
The mgr was super nice about it, but he said they just wouldn't get reimbursed for them. I am going to send him the link so he can check them out himself.

After purchasing 8 yesterday (4 each from 2 stores), one of the stores I purchased from refused 4 of them today. The cashier walked to the front end manager and asked about them once I'd handed them to her. She came back and said, "We can't take these they are copies. See? All the numbers are the same." She was pointing to the barcode.

I can appreciate and respect their decision to deny the coupon, but it's really irritating when they don't know the facts... and worse yet when they start off by calling you a forger. It wasn't worth the hassle to explain that they came directly from Chung's website.

Looks like you may very well become sick with the shrimp ones.

I do like the chicken egg rolls (according to the federal health code injunction only the seafood variety are affected), and they're even fairly healthy according to the nutrition panel. Wish I'd found this coupon before purchase, but will use it next time...thanks!
