Foodperks now in MD!!

Hey check your email if you are in MD!! I got one today announcing foodperks.... finally ....and if you watch the video you get 5% added to your card right away !!! Great, since I think they accrue monthly so the last day of the month is the last day to use them. I was so hoping they'd be coming soon...... was checking something on my card two weeks ago and noticed it was tracking gas purchases to earn foodperks, but I had no discounts available, even though I had enough spending to earn them, so I called CS to ask if they were comming to MD soon, and the guy said he thought it would be soon, , but I thought, yeah like a year from now since we've only been waiting for like ever for them here, and so today's email made me a very happy shopper ....... not that I am not already in love with GE, but now I have even more reason to be!! I hope to get there sometime over the weekend, so I will check to see if it comes up, even though I will save it til the last moment possible to get the most out of it and I'll let you all know if the cashier gets a prompt for it. So let me just end by saying:

good for Maryland! We have had them in Pa. for about 6 or 8 months now and I like them. They expire in 3 months so I keep a list of items that never seem to go on sale or have coupons and use my foodperks for these things.Then there are always other items that are on sale for which I have coupons and adding the foodperks on top, really saves. Since $300 is the limit for the purchase and I don't need that much, my daughter comes with me to get what she needs and we get our items in one order to get the most bang from the perks. We usually hit the $300 mark and save $60.

Yup....they are definitely here!! Went in today to pick up a small item & there was a big ol' table as soon as you walk in the door all decked out w/balloons & pamphlets about the program & such. I used SCO for my few little items and sure enough it prompted me at the end to see if I wanted to use the 5% I had available & tells you the savings amount & everything. I love this.....especially since we all pay so little OOP there usually, so I will probably earn these faster than the fuel perks
