I have been out of the loop but I totally need cheese (finally running out from the deals last winter). . .

Can you please confirm. .

1) that any of the 2/$7 Kraft cheeses will qualify for both CATs?

(If not, which are excluded?)

2) I can combine the Planters Cashews in the deal. . . so long as I buy 5 of the cheeses to get my $5 CAT, I could add two Cashews to get the rest of the way to $30.

Yep, your scenarios will work. I have been buying the shredded cheese (1 lb bags) and have gotten the cat each time.

I think some have had problems with the chunk cheese but, I'm not sure.

FWIW, I bought 5 cheese + 1 cashews for each transaction.

My totals were $4.14 (incl tax) for each 5 cheese + 1 cashews after cashing in the $17 in CATs that printed. All the CATs scanned w/o any beeps!! (i didn't have any mqs.)

Also, I bought shreds (mozz., sharp cheddar, mild cheddar, & mexican blend) and blocks (sharp cheddar and colby) and all of them worked perfectly.
