What a mess!!!

I went to GE this morning to do an order. When I do my coupons, I put them in a recipe box with separate dividers and sometimes I just clip a bunch and put them in a box. Well, I was trying to carry my 16-month-old with a big bulky coat, hold onto this box with the recipe box in it and squeeze between vehicles. My elbow hit the rearview mirror and needless to say, my coupons went a flying. What a bummer. I was able to pick up most of them, but some were soaking wet so they were a loss. Not a very good day for me lol...

Ugh! I've done similar before and tried to dry out the Q's but sometimes it just doesn't work well. Sorry you are having a bad start to the day! Hope it gets better!

My 16 month old eat one of my coupons.. LOL she was holding my coupon holder and took a coupond for " FREE waffles: and eate it..LOL well not the whole coupon but by the time i took it away the scan line was gone...LOL

Try ironing them. I know it sounds crazy but it works.

Last weekend when it rained all day someone in my family forgot to put the window up all the way, and all my steeler bucks got soaked. I was going to try and enter the codes online, but then I thought hey I used to own a tshirt company so i have a heat press to adhere vinyl/tshirt tranfers to clothing lets try drying them using it. Its basicallly a big iron that is weighted to put extra pressure on the shirt. Plugged it in turned it on let it heat up for 10 minutes. I pressed them in sets of 5, and viola good as new. hth

Ha! I don't even iron too many of my clothes! I could imagine what DH would say if I 'ironed' coupons! I could hear the question now...."New coupon policies at Giant Eagle?"!

Oh that stinks! I had that happen once and then started carrying them in a small shopping tote I got from VistaPrint! It was one of those 'free' just pay shipping deals. It's the perfect size to carry my coupon organizer (its kinda like a huge wallet, but divided like a file folder thing) along with any other envies and sales ads I need. No where big enough for my binders, but perfect for the 'carry everywhere' stuff!

I put a piggy bank on mine with 'Crazy Coupon Chick' under it LOL

But anyways, makes it much easier when dealing with the 2 lil ones, purse, keys, sippy cups.....etc etc etc It has long enough handles that I can throw in on my shoulder with my purse and then I don't have to worry about the wind or rain!

I had a glass of water spill on a pile of coupons that were on the kitchen table (thanks DH!). I laid them all out flat(ish) and let them dry. They were a bit "crunchy" after drying but still scanned!

At least those coupons do not have that static cling effect ... I cannot tell you how many times I have presented a cashier x number of coupons only to have x-y redeemed!
