I got 12 Grands, and 6 Cinnamon rolls. I LOVE those cinnamon rolls, but don't really like the Grands. They are good for Thanksgiving and Christmas though.

I am definitely looking forward to the 11-05 sales. What will all you be getting??

I am planning on picking up about 9 bags of the GG Fresh Valley Steamers, 6 BC Potato Boxes, some Cresent rolls, 12 boxes Post Cereal (I found some $4/4 coupons on eBay so if I buy 12 boxes and use 3 coupons, I will get the all 12 for $4!), 6 Dole Fruit Bowls, and IF I can get my hands on LOL butter and Pillsbury Cake Mix coupons, I will get some of those too!!

I didn't buy any Pillsbury either; I bought the grands biscuits the last time they were on sale and generated a cat, and I still have three cans. I usually make my own cinnamon rolls, pizza dough, pie crust, etc. I did buy the gingerbread and pumpkin cookie mixes to get free cake pans and cookie sheets for Christmas gifts, and will probably donate most of the mixes to our church food bank.

This week I used some of my $1.00 cats from the Swanson deal to stock up on 24 cans of Contadina tomato paste (I'm Italian, we go through lots of tomato paste); it was on TPR 5/$3.00, and I used a $1/4 q from coupons.com and a $1.00 cat for every four cans, six times, so $.10/can. I also did the Kellogg's deal with the $.75 coupons from the Kellogg's website, got the $3.00 cat; I plan to buy Crisco shortening next week with the $1.00 q in the 11/8 Redplum and the $3.00 cat from the Kellogg's deal, so $1.25 for the 3 lb. can. Too bad the shortening isn't included in the $2 cat deal next week!

I'm NOT Italian but go through tons of tomato paste!

I guess I'm not alone on not getting the Pillsbury!

None for me either. They're a trans fat bomb. I love to bake and cook, so we're bread product snobs at the petergabrielfan house. Even when they're a money maker I can't bring myself to buy them because I don't have anyone to give them to. My mom doesn't really cook and my MIL is like me...a food snob. Most of my girlfriends are bakers too.

Wow, I had no idea so many of you are bakers!

My single biggest tip for saving money on food/eating out is to make my own pizza dough. I can't imagine the amount of $$$ I have saved over the years by not doing pizza takeout very often. We usually buy pizza out one every month or two and I make it once a week at home.

I can't wait for the Land O Lakes deal next week! Time to stock up for holiday baking.

Is there a LOL coupon out there that is going to make the LOL deal any better? (besides the IP one)?

Forgive me for clogging up our chit chat thread with deal talk, but the Betty Crocker potatoes on sale next week are the boxes/dehydrated thingies, right? I keep a few of those on hand for quickie meals and I'm trying to make sure I have the right thing in mind.

If you search Pillsbury.com there are a lot of recipes using cinnamon rolls. I think I am going to try this one Cinnamon French Toast Bake from Pillsbury.com .
