HELP I'm new and need some help on 2 scenarios

I've been doing this about a couple of weeks now. It's kind of intimidating but I love it. I had my Giant Eagle shopping list for this week, it's the biggest shopping trip I've planned yet. If any of you wouldn't mind looking at it and making sure I can actually do it. I'm afraid of going in there, and doing it wrong. I bought the wrong thing the other day, and had to have a cashier void it, it was kind of embarrassing. Thank you for being so kind, and helpful

(I know there are better coupons for some of my items but I don't have them)

Transaction 1

Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls 6/$6 and $4 off your next shopping trip when you buy 6
-$1.00 off coupon and $0.40 when you buy two (using two)
**Final Cost 6/$3.40 or $0.57 each**

Transaction two
2 Johnsonville Fresh Sausage $4.99 each
-$1.00 off when you buy two and they are BOGO
**Final Cost for two $4**

Tyson Chicken or Beef Strips $3.99 each
-$0.55 off when you buy one and they are BOGO
**Final Cost for two $2.90**

Tyson Entrees $4.99 each

**Final Cost for two $2.40**

Hillshire Farms Smoked Sausage $4.69 each
-$1.00 off when you buy two and they are BOGO
**Final Cost for two $3.69**

Betty Crocker Frosting 2/$3
-$0.50 off one tub (using two)
**Final Cost for two $1.00 or $0.50 each**

Betty Crocker Baking Pouches (the pumpkin and ginger bread cookies) $1
-$0.40 off any one pouch
**Final Cost $0.20 or $1.20 if I don't buy the holiday pouches**

I just glanced over this very quickly and the only problems I see is that with the Tyson Entrees being bogo they might go by the regular price of $6.99 instead of $4.99. And I am not sure which coupons.com brownie coupon you are using. The only one I know of is the 75˘/2 and that is for the supreme brownies. More than likely it is the traditional brownies that are one sale.

I can't believe someone replied so fast. Thanks for looking! I have another betty crocker cookie pouch coupon I can sub instead. The sale on the Tyson Entree's is supposed to be until 11/04, hopefully it lasts. I'm shocked I can get so much for a third of my old grocery budget.

The longer you do this the more you save. You will start to learn how much of something you need to last you inbetween sales and your savings will grow... I used to be happy when I saved 50- 60% , now if my savings are over 80% I am wondering what I did wrong. LOL

See if can print 1 more $1.00 off pillsbury sweet rolls coupon from the site you linked in the ad thread. Most let you print twice, it let me.

I wish i could go back to the library before I go to the store. It costs me 10 cents per page I print so it would only save me 10 cents to print another. Here is the site to get the coupon...

Pillsbury® Cinnamon Rolls from Pillsbury.com

You're lucky you can print at your library - mine won't let you (it kills me that they have 20+ computers and they are right next door - just torturing me LOL)

There are .40/1 cookie q's at bettycrocker.com, smartsource.com and coupons.com - if you can, try to make 4 betty crocker items in one purchase, that way you get a free cookie sheet or cake pan. If you buy 3 items (brownies, cake mix, bisquick, frosting) and one cookie, you'll get a catalina for a free dozen eggs.

When you are printing from any of these sites, if you can find at least 3 coupons from each, you'll save money - they'll usually print 3 on a page. Almost 99% of the time, you can print 2 of each coupon (just go back to the main page after printing the first time and select them again)

If you have friends/family that have computers and printers - ask them to print coupons for you too.

ANY time you have a question, do exactly what you just did - either start a thread or post in the weekly thread. More likely than not, you'll get plenty of people answering your question.

A lot of us order coupons from clipping services or ebay (if you order them early enough, you'll get them in time for the sale). Also, if something isn't in stock, get a raincheck! They never expire and you can do the deal later (and hopefully, by then, you'll have the coupons)

I asked for a rain check when finding out they were out of cinnamon rolls, they weren't getting them for at least two days. The MANAGER told me just go to another store! I had to call around to find them. I was annoyed but went anyways. Then at the register at the next store the cashier told me I should report them to corporate. I don't want to be rude but they made me waste my gas, and time.

I have gotten 4 different rainchecks so far for the cinnamon rolls - all different LOL

1. 6 for $2
2. 6 for $6 (and was told to bring receipt to cs and they would give me $4
3. 6 for $6 ($4 off if I buy 6 - suspect cashier will take $4 off)
4. 6 for $6 (they gave me the $4 on a gc - I said I didn't buy them yet and they said it was ok LOL)

I'm hoping to go back to the person who wrote #1 and get more from her - I like those better LOL.

I would definitely call corporate about the Manager telling you to go to different stores
