Well I feel dumb for paying full price for toothpaste for the past few years.

I can't believe I'm just now getting into coupons.

Oh, honey! Don't feel dumb. We all start somewhere. You'll find that we all have different standards. Some will pay for frozen pizzas, some only if they are free after q. Some will buy Pantene shampoo because it's all they use, others will "buy" any kind that is free. Don't sweat it. Feel free to PM anytime with questions or ask away in the forums. The people here are great. If it makes you feel better I've only been doing "extreme couponing" for about a year.

If it helps, I have only been couponing for about 3 months. I am already to the point where I was struggling to pay 80 cents a box for granola bars. That just seemed high to me the other day!

Not a big week for me, I don't think. Any experienced couponers know when the baking sales start? I am ooouuuuttt of everything baking related. Except for pumpkin cookies pouches, lol!

Manthem don't worry. Right before I started couponing, like two weeks ago, I bought a 3 pack of crest toothpaste for $5. Now I have all this toothpaste from couponing, and will need to start giving it away soon.

Do you think the October CATs would still be in play?
Ziploc: $2 wyb 3 or more
Pillsbury: $2 wyb 4 or more

Also, I notice the wording on these ones (for the monthly deal) states "or more" so I wouldn't get 2 $2 CATs if I bought 6 ziploc bags in 1 transaction, would I?

No you have to do them in transactions of 3. Plus for each transaction of 3 you can send it for the SC Johnson Rebate. You can do 3 rebates be household.

Would be great to get a $2 meat cat and a regular $2 cat! Not holding my breath...but want to be prepared...anybody have general pricing for ziploc bags? There are .40/1 coupons, not sure if good deal...I don't really need them, KWIM?

Ha, I feel the same way! I started doing a few coupons when I first got married 7 years ago, but then thought I was wasting my time because I didn't have a plan, wasn't organized and most of all--I didn't have an information power house such as this giant eagle group!! Thanks for your help and I can't wait to see what all is in store for me the next few months. Starting with toothpaste!! So it's nice to meet the group and I will be seeing you around!
