Giant Eagle ~ Other A story to share....lol

I have to share something that happened the other day when my friend and I were shopping at Giant Eagle. There was an older gentleman in line behind my friend, she did 2 seperate transactions. SMALL transactions! He was so aggrevated that she was using coupons, so he plopped himself down on the floor sittinng idian style with his arms crossed pouting like a baby! Can you believe that?!?!?! All she had in her orders were 4 swansons broths, and 4 cambells selects and 4 bc cookie pouches and of course the cake pan. The cashier was speechless, I was in a different line, and unfortunately didn't get to witness this,lol.....But for a grown man to act like that, come on.

LOL, think that is exactly what I would have done if I witnessed that. I sure wouldn't want to be married to that guy even if I didn't coupon. :-/

wow that is crazy.... Especially since she was doing small orders. If I am doing a lot of multiple transactions or a huge order I always tell the person behind me that it will be awhile. Most people usually stay there to see how much I saved, some thnak me for letting them know and move on to another line, and a few have huffed away. But I have never witnessed anything like that.

Your friend should have yelled "Clean up on register ??"......

On a different note, I always make my husband stand behind my cart while I do the transactions, so he can block me, lol

It is amazing to mne the way people act when they feel they have been inconvenienced in any way - however, slight. Although I wasn't there, from the description, I think that man needs to slow down his life a little, if he has to act like that in response to such a small delay in time.
