Oh, they are a decent meal if you do not look at the ingredients or nutrition statements.

The sodium content will blow you away.

One thing you can do is not use all of the gravy that comes with the product.

Did anybody else get the Birdseye SteamFresh Meals $2 coupon in the mail from GE? I was thinking that would go well with the BOGO coupon too!

I just looked at it...it's for SeaFood SteamFresh Meals...blech!

The calories, fat, and fiber are fine but the sodium is like half your daily amount. I got a bunch of them for free at Kmart but I don't eat them...my mom and brother do. I did taste the Roast Beef and Mashed Potato one...tasted pretty darn good. After watching my fat, fiber, and calories, I don't have enough eyeballs left to watch the sodium. I figure if no one in my family has high blood pressure and no one in my family has ever had or even died from heart disease then I might live through a Hormel Compleat...maybe.

I've seen a few Digornio and Californa Pizza kitchen IPs out there. I think it would make them 4 each. Not bad, but DH brings them home for free, but just saying.......

Well, the ad is up on the GE website and it doesn't look like an exciting week!!

If the Campbell cat. is going by shelf price, then the Select Harvest soups will be a pretty good deal - 0.25 a can.

It says, save up to $10 on 8 so are they really $2.50 a can regularly. WOW!! If so you can buy 4 use 2 $0.50/2 select harvest soup coupon and receive a $2 cat. So $1 for 4 cans.

I ordered some coupons for those, and for Breyers, we are finally down to our last quart from a previous sale they had.

Anyway, it is a little bit of a disappointing week - I really was hoping for some free mustard and pickle relish. (Just joking, I HATE mustard!!!)

They are yummy, but like others have said, high in sodium. I get them when I can get a super cheap deal and keep a couple in my desk at work in case I am ever in a super hurry and can't make lunch to take with me or whatnot.

Here's a couple scenarios for the Campbell's OYNO, assuming it goes by shelf price.

    (8) cream of mushroom - shelf price $10, sale price $6.40
    - $1 MQ (2 x $.25/4 doubled)
    = $5.40
    - $2 OYNO
    = $3.40, or $.43 per can

    or

    (2) Select Harvest - shelf price $5, sale price $2
    (4) cream of mushroom - shelf price $5, sale price $3.20
    = 5.20
    - $1.10 MQ ($.30/2 Select Harvest and $.25/4 cream, both doubled)
    = $4.10
    - $2 OYNO
= $2.10 for 2 Select Harvest and 4 cream of mushroom

I guess it depends what you need at the moment... I need to stock up on cream of mush for my crockpot recipes.
